they're ones I designed and had produced by my workplace. nothing existed that would put the lights where I wanted them, cost a reasonable amount, or were meant for lights this big and heavy. they are 8GA 304 SST. the a-pillar lights wobble a bit more than I would like, but I think that is due...
So, I am wiring a set of HID pods directly from the battery and using the prewire aux switch as the relay. I have a power wire on the battery leading to a fuse, then a 4 pin relay. The ground wire coming out of the relay and the ground for the lights is on an existing ground point. The power...
I am getting them made at my workplace... I have them designed in CAD and my company works with sheet metal, predominately. I am mounting two on the A-pillar locations, and the other two are going to be mounted to the bumper mounting bolts (and sit above the bumper, inboard of the headlights)...
I have two sets of 4000 rallye HID's (fogs and flood or spot), but I have to get brackets made for them. Once I have them made and installed (and they work), I will post pictures.
apple will show your entire library, again, when you are stopped. Sync3 in my ‘18 focus did not lock you out at speed, and it worked perfectly… seems like the only good solution is a $200 wiring harness that was mentioned earlier in this thread.
so, fellow curmudgeon here... I much prefer listening to my own library of music and have been using the USB drive method for years. however, with the Bronco, the 'safety' of locking you out of searching for music while in motion makes this almost impossible to use. this is especially a problem...
Pretty sure these are designed to break... I used finger strength to try and pry them off. Broke both of them with barely any effort... mine are zip tied on.
This is my 6th Ford. All of which have been manual transmissions. As other have said, no manual = no buy. This IS my first 4x4/SUV... all others have been cars.
Race Red was the 'boy racer' color on the final year of the Focus RS, FYI! I am interested in seeing a deep metallic red with the rest of the HE scheme.
Overall, given all these changes, I am happy with my '23 HE. Nothing here that is too exciting, but that won't stop me from spending hours...
I was thinking the same thing, BUT the way this is worded, it seems like it's gonna be a check box option within the BB trim, not a stand-alone trim like the HE. Guess we'll find out within a week or so...
Thanks! Though, these were a bit of a process and I am curious to see how they hold up to the sun and weather. They are not perfect by any means and the base parts themselves are not cheap.
