The Bronco does indeed have the fake engine sounds. Ford has been doing this for quite awhile across the board. In the Raptor world it can be disabled via Forscan. The Bronco should be able to disable it via Forscan.

The funny thing it that the new Ford MME (Mach E Mustang, all electric) has fake engine sound for the interior that you can turn on and off with a simple switch.

While the F-150 PowerBoost does not and it’s defaulted to on. According to some people on the F-150 forum

I heard about this on Coast to Coast AM, Art Bell discussed it.

I want some of what everyone else is sucking up their nose to believe there is "fake engine noise" being pumped into the cabin. I just had the top off the other day and had the radio off for a bit. Guess what? Sounds exactly the same with the top on and the windows down on my 2.7. Never has this been mentioned being on the Bronco before.

So at the end of five pages, we more than likely have some type of fake sound IF we have the Lux package.

Does it occur with and without the stereo on?

If we disable it in Forscan are there any pro’s or Con’s?

Its been mentioned plenty. Not surprised you didn't see it before since you obviously didn't read this thread either.

On the Mach E Forum a poster asked everyone to vote on whether or not they like it and keep the sound on, or hate it and turn it off. Over 80% voted OFF. ;)

I read every page. All that's mentioned is other vehicles and that the sound may or may not be caused by faulty wiring or by adding a different sub to the B&O system. Have you read the entire thread??

Not sure what is worse, fake/pumped in engine noise to annoy the owner or aftermarket exhaust to annoy everyone around you?

Just stop with the aftermarket exhaust on your 4cyl and 6cyl engines people. They don't ever sound like a proper 8cyl. Just watch the wave of people rolling there eyes as you drive past.

I think you are getting electrical feedback from your wiring. You have something crossed or need a line filter. With that being said, My wife has a Bronco Sport and when you select "Sport Mode" it does pump fake exhaust rumble through the speakers. It only happens when in Sport mode.

I'm not really sure how Ford does it buy most manufactures introduce the sound with it's own separate system with separate speaker. I do not think it goes into the audio system.

The Bronco is not a hybrid or EV to where Ford has a need to inject motor / engine sounds.
I’m not saying the bronco has it or doesn’t have it, but the fake engine noise pumped through speakers is not just an EV thing. My 2017 GTI had it. VW calls it a Soundaktor and their implementation is a physical device in the engine bay, piping sounds through the speakers. I’ve read some manufacturers use a mic, some make completely artificial sounds. I think bmw had it in the past too. It’s ridiculous.
