I had the Suma mirrors and they are great, unless you have tinted windows. The tint from the Suma mirrors combined with the tint of the windows makes visibility at night almost impossible. Suma apparently cannot, or will not, make plain untinted convex side mirrors. I really liked the Suma mirrors as they effectively removed the blind spot completely and thought it was one of the best modifications by far.

Has anyone looked at OLM convex side mirrors? they appear to be similar to the Suma ones, but without tint. And they even have BLIS, heat and turn signal notification. And they are almost impossible to find.

Has anyone tried them?

My wife has them on hers and neither of us likes them. I don't think they do nearly as good a job as the convex replacement mirrors. I also think the stick on convex mirrors ruin the sight lines of the side mirrors and are distracting as my eye is immediately drawn to the tiny stick on mirror.

@Mabett Have you considered getting into the side view mirror business? There is a lot of demand for Suma-style convex mirrors WITHOUT tint and WITHOUT a logo!

Too bad you missed out on the special sale Stickerfab was running last month on non tinted convex mirrors with bliss, defroster and built-in turn signals. They said it was a limited edition run because the factory swtiched over to tinted less reflective mirrors and they only had 18 sets available. I snagged a set for $100 and really like them. I'm guessing they are Suma, no logo and they came in a generic box.

Aren’t the “Grey” versions from SUMA “untinted”?

That’s what I had on my 2021 with 20% Xpel tint and I had zero issues. I also luckily snagged a version w/o logos.

It appears you have the original "clear" or "white" untinted version that also did not include the logo (want to sell them? :D). The new grey and blue versions are definitely not clear or untinted. Here's some comments from other threads.

I have the Suma mirrors in grey and they are tinted and hard to see thru at night with lightly tinted windows. Same tint with stock mirrors is no problem. The mirrors are great and work as promised except for the tint. I asked Suma if they plan on making them without tint and they said no. There are blue tinted ones that may be better.
Yeah that was the feedback I gave them when they reached out to me last week. (Seems they're making the rounds amongst the Bronco owners with YouTube channels.)

I bought mine during the group buy as well, and the "Clear" was definitely not clear. I see they have now updated the website to say "Grey", which is definitely more accurate. There is a tint to them for sure.

I still have mine, but I'll admit I wish it was actually clear. If you tint your front windows or you drive at night the mirrors are pretty lackluster. Beyond that one downside, I think they're great.
I wouldn't, make it too dark at night to see a person walking etc

Interesting…ya know - I tossed them. When I pulled them from my wrecked 2021 some of the tabs broke. I didn’t think they’d be safe to give to another Bronco owner and my new truck has BLIS - so, they were useless to me.

They recently offered to replace them even though the original versions don’t carry the 5 year warranty the new versions do.

I guess I’ll have to see if I like the grey tint this time around. That’s kind of a bummer. I run 20% in the fronts.

Wait the originals don’t have a 5 year warranty, but the new ones do?

@Suma Performance is this correct?
Because I’ve been meaning to get mine warrantied, but I was in on the very first group buy back in early 2022 or whatever and my BLIS lights crapped out after about a year.

I used to be an Outside Mirror designer for OEMs. There may be a Federal restriction on aftermarket glass with regard to tint/no tint. I can't remember (25 years ago) but you might be surprised at how many Federal regulations apply to even the most insignificant parts of a car (not that the mirrors are insignificant, on the contrary, just sayin' in general).

I found these and bought two sets (one for my bronco and one for my wife's). Should be delivered in the next few days. I'll report back.

I just stuck this on my Bronco a couple weeks ago. I found it while doing some clean up in the shop. It is the lower mirror from an 11-16 Super Duty. It was about $15 on Amazon. Not perfect, but it is growing on me.
