We have Amp steps on our Bronco. They are fine for light off roading. They won’t hold up well to dragging them over rocks though.
We had Rockslide Engineerings steps on our previous Jeep Gladiator. They are a much narrower step surface than the Amp steps, but they will take a hit much better.
I’m in south Texas, so my hard top will go back on when it gets real hot more than likely. I’ve had the soft top for about 6 months now and I love it. I drive around in safari mode or top down most of the time. I keep the windows in a bag hanging off the back seats.
I just installed the ford kit on my 2024 Badlands a few weeks back. I programmed everything in Forscan.
This is a good thread to read through if you want to go the Forscan route...
I had the same problem. This is what I did for a temporary fix until I swap back to my hard top. Been fine for a month and a half now.

I hooked up my trailer tonight and everything worked as it should. It allowed me to add my trailer to the managed trailers. Blind spot and cross traffic automatically turned off. And I was able to run the trailer light check from the dash and from the app. Pretty happy with the setup.
It is attached with 4 small circles of double sided tape at the corners. It leaves a gap between the OEM mirror and the convex. This is just the mirror glass. I honestly just decided to try it because I had it leftover from an old truck. So far so good.
I just stuck this on my Bronco a couple weeks ago. I found it while doing some clean up in the shop. It is the lower mirror from an 11-16 Super Duty. It was about $15 on Amazon. Not perfect, but it is growing on me.
Glad it worked for you. I don’t know if it will save trailer profiles. I haven’t hooked my trailer to the Bronco yet. I hope so, but not a deal breaker for me either.
Yes, that is all without a trailer connected. Go back and take a look at the post by tgoat on page 16 of this thread. I went through all those settings.
@RoverDude and @tgoat thank you for your helpful posts. I was able to add everything to my 2024 without any issues. My trailer tow screen now looks like my trucks screen.
This thread helped me today. I didn’t have a wedge and didn’t feel like pulling the soft top off to bend the bracket correctly (will do this someday). However your wedge did make me think of just sandwiching a zip tip between the back side of the plastic slide channel bracket and the metal...
I didn't have any issues installing my RokBlockz. It took me less than an hour. That video makes it seem more difficult than it is. If you need to adjust that bracket it is very easy to do with a crescent wrench. Honestly, the video commentary about this issue is longer than it takes to...
I have been using this for the last few years. The bar holds two lights and the lights are adjustable and removable. I have used them under the hood, inside vehicles and under vehicles. Catch them on sale and it is a pretty nice setup...
@potatohead
if you are invested in aftermarket, I have these IAG steps for sale (rock rails not included). Just purchased in February, but decided to go with AMP steps. In like new shape. Would take $500 for them.
We have done a little off-roading. We have done a lot of the trails in the San Juan mountains near Ouray and Silverton and a little in New Mexico. We are in it for the scenery and getting out to remote places.
I see you had/have a Scout. We have a 79 Scout II. Hope to get it up to Colorado...
Does this count? Not the windshield, but this was after 2 weeks of ownership. Semi kicked up something in the road and shattered the side window. I told my wife it was going to get scratched up, but I thought it might last longer than 2 weeks.
Just picked up our Bronco about a month ago and we are loving it. I saw a Gladiator locally that had the Flip Top on it and I didn't know what it was. Now I know what I was looking at. I really like this solution.
