Just took my first longer trip in my 2024 Wildtrak. What a great vehicle.
I’m used to wide angle blind spot mirrors that were a part of the factory mirrors on my Ford Super Duty trucks; they were great.
Admittedly my Bronco has side sensors that indicate a vehicle in my blind spot, but being a bit old school I would also like to see those vehicles (which might for example be towing a trailer).
Any suggestions for add-ons? I’m not thinking about a separate mirror, but rather a stick on to the existing mirror ‘glass’.
Admittedly such things are easily found at Walmart etc. but maybe some of you have found a particularly good solution.
Thanks
I feel the same way you do and have the nice alert on the mirrors. I have heard that gge mirror material is different and that attempting to remove/replace the “bubbles” actually damages the glass type material, thus I’d advise against adding those stick on side view “bubbles”

Suma non-blue non-tinted (early release), I see everything. Expensive, but one of the best things I've upgraded.

Group I was in (preorder)
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/closed-group-buy-pre-order-suma-performance-mirrors.36348/

More recent group(ended), but with change. I guess they are a darker now. Happy with/prefer the originals though

Thanks, but pages and pages - TL/DR. How about the short version please?

They have a blue-ish version (anti-glare), non-blue w/light tint and non-blue w/darker tint, but the non-blue w/light tint has been discontinued? I certainly understand the BLIS/no BLIS option.

Get the non blued version. It is the best option available for better viewing angle. BUT, I don't have tinted windows. So, I think that is the problem. Tinted window + tinted mirrors = too dark.

I've used the mirrors for 2 years and I would never go back to OEM. THE view is a lot wider, still clear, and I feel safe with lane changes, and I don't have blis.(Base model bronco)

I don't know why they tinted the newer mirrors. They don't need it. Maybe it's a Cali thing, but in Ohio it's mostly dark anyways.

It's a mirror, there's not much to say about them. I use them daily and they've really increased confidence. Eliminated blind spot for me.

If one broke, I have the oem as backup, but would probably order another suma set to replace. I would prefer non tinted, but I'd buy whatever was available and then have to see which is better at that time.

I would say the only downside vs oem is the plastic mounting tabs are not as robust as oem. I removed the oems twice and non of the mounting tabs snapped off. But one of the suma tabs snapped when removing it. Doesn't affect anything, still holds secure and works perfectly, no shake. But just need to be very careful if you ever remove the suma.

I recommend replace mirrors. The Suma mirrors are awesome. Easy to install they are well worth the money.

I have the Suma mirrors in grey and they are tinted and hard to see thru at night with lightly tinted windows. Same tint with stock mirrors is no problem. The mirrors are great and work as promised except for the tint. I asked Suma if they plan on making them without tint and they said no. There are blue tinted ones that may be better.

Thanks, and.....still not clear.

As I asked prior:
Yes, I think so. I kinda fell out of the suma conversation after the 2nd group buy. I just remember people complaining about the tint and the blue

I don't know everything, but when asked this question "Wide angle blind spot mirrors"
suma are the best thing going.

My 2024 Badlands has the small blind spot mirrors as part of the standard mirror. I don't have the side sensors or the 360 option. It may be that if you have the side sensors the mirrors don't include the blind spot mirrors.

You may be able to order standard mirrors with the blind spot mirrors if you are willing to pay that much.
