Is it good idea to install? I’m afraid door may hit the mirror while opening since they’re separated.

In my experience, they could be more of a hindrance than a benefit. I just ran mine thru the auto car wash the other day. Got out, folded in pass mirror, went back to driver seat, rolled window down, folded in Driver mirror. When folded in, opening the doors WILL put mirrors back in place, but you may not like what the mirror does to the door panel. When mirrors are door mounted, power fold is great. On the Bronco, maybe not. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe if the mirror function was integrated to the fob? 1) open mirrors, 2) start vehicle and/or unlock doors. But yes, side (not door) mounted as they are is a problem.

I do like the idea, if there's a solution. They'd be handy on the trail for when you're cutting it close to a high obstacle, and really great for some garage owners. I park on the street, and they'd help reduce my exposure to side-swipe damage and vandalism (kids kicking them).

I had them on a Sienna minivan and really appreciated the function. However: it's one more motor or circuit to fail as the vehicle ages, which I found the case as my Sienna hit 200K and 12 years. They were expensive: about $850 each to replace.

Hey, Ford: you might add this to a Lux package. What if they folded out or in with the unlocking/locking mechanism? You'd want a manual override, of course.

It would be nice to have power folding mirrors but I just don’t think it makes sense on a Bronco. So many ways it could go wrong. Opening the door too fast and smashing your window into the mirror.
