Has anyone ever gotten the below code and wrench light on their dash before? It happened yesterday when we hit 110 degrees outside while I was set on cruise control around 65mph and it suddenly lost power and went into limp mode. I ran FORScan when I limped it home and chalked it up to a hot clutch, but this morning the clutch pedal still feels spongy and there is some slip but I guess not enough to throw the code. I guess I'll see what happens as the temperature climbs today. Any thoughts or suggestions?

ETA: So on an afternoon drive: still slipping and power stutters while running cruise control, but no codes thrown. Certainly seems like a burned up clutch. Ordered a SBC stage 2 endurance clutch kit from Panda Motorworks. I’ll definitely take pictures of the old clutch when I get it replaced.

Yikes, clutch slipping at less than 11k miles isn't a good sign. Are you saying that you can actually feel it slipping?

Hard to say without looking at it, but I'd maybe check your brake master cylinder to see if its possibly low. Maybe the slave is leaking onto the clutch causing it to slip?

Yikes 3900 rpm 25% throttle and 6psi of boost to go 65mph? Wtf, was that even 6th gear? Turn off the radio 😆 these things are too quiet. Don’t mess around with bad slippage like that, that can put enough heat in the clutch to result in a clutch explosion and take your feet and windshield out or burn the whole mess to the ground

Haha, that's 10,500 Kilometers...so yeah, 6,547 miles. And yes, I can feel it slipping.

Checked it out, still filled to the max line.

In all fairness, I believe that reading was heading up an overpass and the Bronco did it for me when it kicked in limp mode. But yeah...6th gear, while not good, typically isn't *that* bad.

Any visible fluid leaking from the trans/bell housing? Any indication of the distinct smell of a burnt clutch?

If you're accelerating, maybe 4th gear. 6th gear @ 65 mph (on cruise control) is right around 2k rpm and no boost. To get to 6psi, you're into the throttle, going up a hill or something. I rarely get over 5psi merging onto the highway. WOT, up to 15psi but that's rare...94 octane is expensive.

Ditto, 5th and 6th gear is usually between no to 1 psi of boost depending on wind, inclines, etc. Oddly enough, the RPM difference between 5th and 6th at cruising speed is maybe 1K, usually less than that. 4th, merging onto highway WOT I can get into 15-16 psi as it builds up. And I agree, 93 octane is super expensive stuff.

No visible fluid leaks anywhere under the vehicle where it has been parked. There was a burning/hot clutch smell yesterday which I was hoping would cool down overnight and I'd be all good today. I'm leaning towards the idea that the clutch is smoked.

Unfortunately I would have to agree.

OUCH...hurts to look at! I think I smell it too!
Literally smoked to a crisp. I don't claim to be gentle on my equipment, but damn I don't know what I did to cause that.
