Changing grille letters?

Hey y’all, I wanna ask if you guys think this is do able, I wanna change the letters on the front grill of my bronco to say “BLUEY” instead of “BRONCO”. If seen some posts saying that you can remove the letters but I haven’t seen any about changing them out, so is that a thing I can do?

Several people have done it with 3D printed letters.

The OEM letters are plastic welded to the grille, so you have to drill out the letters to replace them. And obviously the grille itself is molded to fit 6 letters, so if you are going to replace it with a 5-letter word you're going to have to figure out how to re-center the letters, how to mount them, etc.

Possible for sure, just not a super-straight forward task.

There are companies that sell alternate letters in the BRONCO font, as well as ones that light up. Definitely simpler if you stick with 6 letters. Also videos on YouTube showing how it's done.

What about a mounting plate instead, and use it for whatever you want?

You'll need to keep the same number of letters or figure out a way to recenter it all. Here's a few options for letters but I know there's more.

I did mine with Oracle Lighting letters. You can get any letter of the alphabet. I did matte black with white led.

I vaguely remember when I drilled out my letters to replace with the Putco lit letters which was actually 2 bars (separated by the center camera). A mounting plate with the letters you want would work, but I can’t remember now if the mounting screw holes were uniform.
