According to my insurance agent, collision would cover it. The fact it didn't happen on a road shouldn't matter, same as if he had hit a tree by the side of the road.Just out of curiosity; how does insurance handle situations like this? It is not a collision or an accident. If you went outside and took a sledgehammer to your Bronco, they would not pay for it. So in instances like this, off-roading where the operator (in the eyes of insurance) caused the damage....do they pay out?
