No pressure @BuckWildOffRoad lolMost anticipated build of the year right here!
All of that has been done on the build I am following. They are now tuning it, and considering adding a whipple to it.I disagree! awaiting the Godzilla motor build completion more... or did they finish the wiring and programming?

Dang dude! You’re a wild animal! Amazing.Well.... Where to start?
Just a little history on the Bronco.
A couple days after I got it we had our son, and brought him home in it.![]()
After a few trips I did a small build and went to Colorado with Toyo Tires to get content for a new tire, the RT Trail.

Next I progress to do full ADV Fiberglass, this was the start of my broncos deconstruction....
I wanted to blend the door panels and fiberglass....

My Bronco Raptor showed up during this time.

I figured, "Hey, I might swell do a few other things while I am making dust"
Ohhh boy,

Another baby just a few weeks after we moved...
![]()
And I got a shop to work on my projects..
![]()
Well I got all this space. But so much time has past between what I originally wanted, and now...
And who needs two broncos? I already have a Bronco Raptor... What I am really missing is a truck...
Line a few things up...
![]()
And Viola!

![]()
Shoot... Now what? no turning back!
![]()
Measure twice, cut once, repeat..
![]()
Annnd cut some more...
![]()
Start welding in...
![]()
and weld some more....
(The roll bar is boron steel, to keep it structural I sleeved it with 10" of steel inside because you will loose strength when welding to the heat treated boron.)

The key is you MUST make really detailed plans..

This is how she sits as of this weekend, we're finally building more than cutting!

Now, here is the plan, or as much of it as I can share... The plan is to do the full reveal at SEMA..
The bed will overall "appear" to be 5', however I am keeping 1' "inside" the cabin to house the electronics, sound system, and dry storage.
Wheelbase is around 117", roughly the same as a 4dr f150 short bed.
40-42" tires without rubbing.
Front will sit around 4"-5' wider per side and moved forward 1.5" for cabin clearance.
Front buckets will be cut out and custom towers made to support the long travel coilovers.
Rear is getting long travel triangulated 4 link and a wide axle to match front.
Rear frame moved up 4" under the bed area to allow more travel.
Custom 40gallon fuel tank behind rear axle.
The bed itself will be aluminum construction to help save some weight ( with composite bedsides)
The bed is not separate from the cab structurally, it bolts to the structure you see in the photos.
The entire body (bedside, tailgate, fenders, door skins, hood) is my own design ( I can't share that yet) and will be 3d printed to make molds and ultimately a composite exterior.
Full belly skids
Custom bumpers
Engine mods
Sound system ( I already did it and then I cut it all out when I chopped the rear)
Lots of other details but that will all come with time...
That's all for tonight
Trust me I get that as I have multiple hobby syndromeOh yeah!

That’s one way to keep from having a 4th kidHahaha yeah… 50-60hrs a week as Director of Nursing at a hospital, full time accelerated program for bachelors and masters in business. Three kids, two dogs, this project, my bronco business I am starting (excited to show that soon), buying a house, family time, two other startups I’m working on… yeahhhhh, I got all the time.![]()

Thanks! I wish I had a photo with the body on and doors of to show you but it really does make a difference! I always hated the “unclean” look with the doors off and body color mixed with the plastic trim and interior. It was a big improvement IMO.You had me after this picture. I am loving the blacked out door jambs and red roll bars. Right before seeing this thread I was looking at my Bronco with doors off thinking it would be great to black out the jambs and hinges. I bought the DeeZee hinge covers but don't love them for the steep price, so will be returning them and looking at doing the door jambs in black. Much smaller project than yours! I will be following your progress.
Has anyone done their door jambs in black? I was thinking maybe matte black PPF instead of trying to spray paint them. Not sure if that makes sense.
