I did pull from SEMA this year. Build is still going, I had to pull back just a bit because of outside reasons. I work in healthcare and we all know there are a lot of changes at the moment. This is not going to turn into a political discussion, and I must put family first. I didnāt lose my...
Thatās funny. Honestly itās so thick at 3/16, Iām already in the overkill zone. Yet the bed still come in around 100lb so it fit what I needed and didnāt add a bunch of weight.
Honestly no, Iām 275# standing in the middle of it and itās insanely strong. I am going to be doing Eva foam in it for a few reason. Iām not putting anything crazy back there, bikes, cooler, etc.
this is what iām lining the bed with.
Sorry I failed to update, yāall already know I stay busy šš¬
Hereās the process on the bed. Cut stuff, weld it, grind it down.
Going to get into the frame this Weekend š
The bed is 3/16 6061 aluminum
Been working on the body design so that I can get parts printing to make molds. I have several months of printing to complete so that I can make the custom body. The idea is to get parts designed and printed while I am working on the other pieces. Printing a single front fender will take about 6...
Small update, Iāve been busy with other aspects of life.. Anyways, this is the final pieces of the cab-to-bed structure before I seal the side with sheet metal and start on the aluminum bed. The bed bolts into the structures you see here. Frame work should be soon, very soon.
Thanks! I wish I had a photo with the body on and doors of to show you but it really does make a difference! I always hated the āuncleanā look with the doors off and body color mixed with the plastic trim and interior. It was a big improvement IMO.
I havenāt gotten much done, but my son sure did š
Iām working on the rear cabin framing tonight, should have some updated photos for the weekend.
The funny part on that is he broke his leg and had a lot of time strapped in the chair while I worked on the bronco. You just canāt see the cast under his sisters pants and socks
I think everyone will be extremely happy with the final design of this. I agree is hard to make it look right. The gladiator is a funky one to start, as I donāt like the proportions on the rear. But I also put looks over ābedā function. The bed will appear 5ā long but the actual bed space is...
I drilled holes and inserted rivet nuts to mount through. Drilled through the plastic and used aluminum spacers to offset from the rollbar.
honestly the premium system makes it harder and more expensive with extra modules.
you should just get a takeout box, put a nicer 8ā speaker, and run a...
Rockville pods with alpine R2 6.5.
all of the speaker wire is 16g copper, I didnāt use any factory wires. Front I did 3 way setup so I was running wire anyways and didnāt trust the factory wire.
The āpremiumā amp was removed and everything was aftermarket.
