That's interesting. I remember reading a few years back that since the Toyota overrun issues of the early oughts all manufacturers have designed and built their vehicles such that the brake will always hold at WOT.

Maybe all the mods we do throws that out the window

With the brake over throttle turned off via Goosetuned magic (mods) I can confirm the 2.7L will absolutely run through the brakes in high. But! Prior to the tune it would never do that unless in low range. Then holy crap it only does it when you don’t want it to while still not allowing you to two foot drive.

This is true. And our conversation clarifies that a stock Bronco will not accelerate through the brakes for others who may be reading this and think throwing it into park is the best option lol.
