Powertrain Malfuncution/Reduced Power

I have been getting dash alerts for Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power and Check 4x4 with a wrench light. But they do not stay on. I have taken it to a dealer and they could not see any codes in the system nor could they reproduce them on test drives. This happens alot when driving usually after the vehicle is warm or after it has been sitting in the heat. The goat modes do not work after the codes pop up but they are fine at restart. My ford pass app has messages about the powertrain, but like I said Ford had it a week and could not come up with anything. Anyone else have any issues. It has 26,500 miles on it.

They should be able to look in connected data and see what codes it set at the time.

Have you checked your battery voltage? Low voltage can make things wonky. Many have had their battery go south after a couple of years.

Tested at the battery with the truck off should be in the mid 12volt range.

12.6 volts when the car is off.

I continue to get this same message when driving in the rain... Typically clears itself (dries out?) within 48hrs. Fortunately, it hasn't yet reduced power. YMMV
