The Bronco rolled back into relevance on a high horse. During the decades-long hiatus from the streets and trails, Ford had ample time to plot their domination of the off-roader market, and so far, it seems to be going to plan. From towering tires to sophisticated trail cameras and everything in between, these Broncos roll off the assembly line fully prepared to dominate any obstacle that gets in their way. However, as well equipped as these wild machines are, even the most prepared adventurer can find themselves tumbling from that high horse, so adding layers of protection is ideal.

One of the best means of protecting your Bronco from the trials and tribulations of the great outdoors is with a snorkel. FAQ

When can I get my Snorkel?
While we've already dug in on this project, we still have a ways to go in terms of testing and production. We are currently slotted to begin shipping by early Spring 2023, but we'll keep you guys posted as this project progresses

How much will this Snorkel Cost?
Our pricing is still being finalized currently, but we anticipate a price of around $500-700 for the kit. We will also have a discounted presale price available for a limited time before we launch

Using this software and our Faro Design ScanArm, our Ye could generate a virtual replica of the front of the Bronco to bring this design to life. eventually, I'd worry about the snorkel snagging on branches and snapping. That is just my concern when seeing it

I'm a hard pass on this particular install. The gap between the vertical pipe and the A-post is a deal breaker for me.

Yeah my concern is visibility with being that far off the A pillar

Sorry for the radio silence there for a minute!

So, because of the way the Bronco is designed, any snorkel routing over the mirror arm will be visible from the driver's seat and create an obstruction. While we always aim to avoid creating a blind spot with our snorkel designs, it's unfortunately inevitable without some serious modification

As for the gap, there's also a method behind this. While snorkels aren't designed as performance additions, or, well, they're aimed at a different type of performance, we don't want to detract from the Bronco's airflow, which entails keeping a large cross-sectional area while reducing the number of curves and bends in the system, like hurdling over the mirror arm.

Now, with all of that said, we did make some adjustments to our final design since, admittedly, we weren't too keep on such a large gap either, and moved it closer to the A-pillar. I'll have more on the final product later this month!

Adding a length of tubing to any intake isn't ideal for performance, so we wanted to ensure we weren't making either EcoBoost breathe out of a straw. Basically, the size, shape, and routing of our design is to ensure a healthy airflow when using only the snorkel inlet.

That all said, here's the result from the driver's seat:

Much better, but I would look at removing the entire cowl if need be and running up the snorkel up against the A-pillar, then looking at modify the cowl and mirror to work around the snorkel. For instance, mounting bracket(s) on the snorkel for the mirror and modified (cut) cowl ends. Don't have the Bronco in front of me so I can't get a good look at it now but hope to provide at least an idea to look at.
