I love my Whipple Stage I performance kit and I have no doubts that aftermarket charge pipes will fit perfectly to it. Also get rid of the electronic shutters for it by detaching the motor and ziptieing it up else where (No code) less restriction and less headaches when taking your Bronco...
I installed my Whipple Supercharger Tune stage 1 with 58 miles on the Odometer, after about 1,000 miles on the Odometer, I unlocked the Sport mode for my FE and will tell you that it I instantly noticed a new power boost almost as equal as the initial tune. I love my tune and use sport mode for...
Probably related to the miswiring of Ford. Once someone actually provides details on how to correct it, I’m just fine with how it works right now, which is probably manual mode. I set it at “2” and make micro adjustments when needed. Going to a 3 is too aggressive.
Would like to see one of the ProRunner's adopt a modified (Dana 60 and longer axle tubes requires modification) Rock Krawler Pro-X 4 link rear setup, not sure if the bump stops would interfere with providing the additional flex, even if so, be interesting to see what differences are noted...
My wife sent me some pics, I will post some more when I get a chance later this week. Especially a pic with the Garmin removed from its mount (quick release) Anyway, I love the mount, thought I would need to make a flip up design when I first made it but that is not the case its perfect...
Now, I am really Pumped to get that Pic, might have to have the wife send it to me. AAL is the best, love their work. Definitely going to use them for my storage and lithium battery needs when I get to that part of my build. I also reached to them in the past about creating a mount for the...
Funny you brought this up, I made this into a mount for my Garmin 8" Overland Tread about 18 months ago. Cut out the basket and keep the downward molle panel and used it to mount my GPS unit. It is absolutely fantastic!!! I'll have to update with pics when I am back at home with my Bronco :).
Will a Bronco Raptor fit through that tight wall? asking because I am going to add portals to my Bronco and want to know what type of trails I will be missing out on? Might change my mind if there's enough awesome places I will be too wide to navigate through...
I went with SRQ rear bumper with Tire Carrier and with a 37" tire and at first, I was not liking the weight that it places on the Rear section of the frame (worried) and I thought maybe I choose the wrong swing out carrier bumper and should have choose the Expedition One single swing out. After...
I have replaced both my RCV outer boots once and now, it looks like I got to replace them again :( At this point I am thinking of getting a boot expander to save me the trouble in separating the CV housing. I also didn't have the right tool to tighten up the CV boot clamps so I used pipe clamps...
Same here, over 30k in mods and everything has had its own issues of QC. Their is the Bronco tax for a reason and that is because we are the real world testers for all these companies. Learned a valuable lesson on buying aftermarket performance parts to soon when there hasn't been enough time to...
I might have to call Quinn on his response as to why he wouldn’t run 40’s on a Bronco, but from your experience is there a lot of body trimming to be done? Or what’s your thoughts with 40’s for a daily driver and on the trails? I was thinking of sticking with 37’s as STT’s Pro doesn’t have a 38”...
I have the 4.7 gear ratio in my Bronco, would putting Portals on be to much of a regear to my highway driving experience? I am currently running 37"s. Should one have to regear to put the Bronco back at a final gear ratio that falls within the 4.56-4.88 range?
I am planning on getting the 74 Weld Portals in April next year. I currently have the ICON Stage 8 suspension kit. Can you explain how you got an extra 2" of lift if your CO are set to the lowest life i.e. does that mean you took off all the preload or just ran the CO from the manufactured...
