I recently traded in my '21 Big Bend Bronco to a '26 Big Bend w/ the Black Diamond package. I added the modular bumper as well. Now I am interested in getting some accessories to tie into the AUX switches, but don't know what I should consider. I am not into off roading, so a winch isn't on my list, and I already bought fog lights and they tie into the existing wiring harness, so I am not sure where to go with it. What are some suggestions? I have seen here a compressor kit that hides away in the tailgate which is nifty, anything else I should consider? Thanks in advance

What do you need a compressor for if you aren't going to be offroading?

Lights are the most common use. I have my driving, ditch and reverse lights wired to my AUX switches.
I could use it to fill lawn mower tires, or if the bronco tires are low, blow out the garage, any number of things. I have thought about a lightbar above the windshield

If you live in or travel to rural areas, supplemental lights can be useful as well as add personalized look. Do you have any hobbies that you use your vehicle for like hunting, fishing, camping,……or spelunking?

The Batman and James Bond films may spark some ideas. ;)

I installed ditch lights. The right side light is good for reading house numbers on dark streets.

I connected the one on the right side to SW 6 and the one on the left side to SW 5. Arizona law allows a spot light shining off to the right side of a vehicle if it doesn't bother oncoming drivers.

Didn’t someone on here put a train horn in his bronco, triggered by an aux switch? Probably illegal, but it would really wake up other drivers…. 😆

Yep, someone did it a few years ago. I think they mounted the horn under their Bronco.

A person could use one of the switches to control a relay to select which horn the horm button activated.

😆 ... it's funny that you mention spelunking. My first introduction to the Bronco (circa Summer 1973) was bouncing around the southern Las Cruces, NM desert with my cousin in the back of his dad's small red 2-door open back 1966 Bronco ... spelunking in the Organ Mountain range.

Air horns are always popular at about 4am.
Smoke screens ... grenade launchers ... Oil slicks .... with 6 switches, your imagination is the only limit.

A battery powered inflator would be a much more economical and portable solution.

Vehicle mounted compressors are meant more for those that are airing down their tires to really low pressures, air bags and air lockers.

For garage tasks, you'll want something with a tank.

Nice! Actual spelunking sounds like fun. I didn’t have caves to explore where I grew up.
