I drilled a hole in the plastic cover of the side mirrors. You can thread the wire into the engine compartment and through the firewall grommet into the cabin
If itās the same video signal the Naviks accepts, possibly. Not a whole lot of advantage in doing that though. The Sync system doesnāt know about the Naviks device nor the camera connected to it at all.
@Hooke RoadĀ® the roof rack looks good. Is there an option for those molle rear side window mounts, such that traction boards or Rotopax etc. could be mounted there?
Seems like the soft top rack has them but not the hardtop version?
Yeah, they asked me too, as I also commented on that thread, but I already had a supercapacitor jump starter, and didn't want another, so I kinda ignored it. Were you able to test it with the car battery disconnected?
That's true, I got a BD for that reason. I didn't do SAS, but with a BD SAS about the only thing missing that I wanted was the 360 camera system. I added my own, though, and it is a future project to upgrade the suspension, etc.
So maybe it's just Big Bend, OBX, BD, and a Raptor, the rest being...
Yeah, feels like Wildtrak and Badlands have a bit of crossover, it probably should be one trim. An OBX lux if you just want the mall crawler, with carpet and leather, etc, maybe with a blackout option, to replicate the Wildtrak look.
But if you want off-road at all, it should basically be BL...
Doesnāt have to do much with one personās agreement, Iām afraid. There were plenty of folks buying with ADM who did agree. Whoās to say whoās wrong? š¤·āāļø
The only rules needed are kindergarten level - donāt steal, injure, or damage someone elseās stuff.
Anything else is just some trying to impose restrictions on others for something they donāt like, usually at no cost to themselves.
the reality is that if flipping is successful for Broncos, that...
Is it a battery based system? It looked to be a capacitor based one, which do have much larger charging/discharging rates than batteries.
I have a capacitor based one since I donāt want to worry about a battery in my jump starter. It can just charge off of a nearly dead car battery, then turn...
It might make sense for BLM to sell the land; more or less turn over management to someone else.
Obviously that new owner would need either donations or a membership/usage fee, but would that be better than closing them entirely?
of course politics would stop such things too I realize.
Oh really? That requires a dealer visit, not just an over-the-air update? Well, maybe in person is safer anyway.
Luckily for me, I was just stupid as it turns out: the procedure in the owners' manual for automatics did work, I was just reading the section for manuals: they are *slightly*...
Whew! Finally got it out of neutral tow mode.
what I did:
Bought a battery charger, as the SSM @flip mentions start with a full battery, and I charged the battery. (possibly not necessary, but rules out that variable)
Then, accessory only power on, hold brake for 7 seconds. But, unlike the...
well this sucks. Iām not sure how to get it to the dealer though, if it really requires a repair. Some of the other threads are scary: the transmission is ruined? I didnāt even move the vehicleā¦. I hope this is covered under warranty.
I guess I did something wrong. I put my bronco into neutral tow mode while trying to pop the center console (I was installing a gmrs radio). I had to put the shifter in neutral to get it off, and I thought (perhaps stupidly, also to learn how it works) neutral tow mode would be safer.
I also...
Great thanks. The forscan changes, while many, seems to be the easy part! Still good that all of it can be done yourself.
I didnāt get a tow package because I donāt really have anything to tow. But having tte mount seems useful for a recovery point, or adding those exterior storage shelves.
Can others program it too? As in is it a Forscan sort of deal?
The Broncoās first vehicle Iām getting into modding myself; as an actual programmer by trade it sure would be nice to have an āopen sourceā sort of vehicle. I get the legalities and marketing and warranty and safety reasons why car...
