I’ve heard or read somewhere the speed limit was for driving through residential areas, so you aren’t high beaming in everyone’s windows. I also think it’s a somewhat bad reason.
AHB works fairly well where I am in the road, the speed limit drives me bonkers as it flicks on and off when I’m in my residential neighborhood. I’m sure the strobe effect is so much better for my neighbors. Yes, I’m an asshole and don’t turn it off and just let it flash everyone every night
I looked around for a while a couple of years ago but couldn’t find anything to disable the speed limit for AHB.
