Question: Is there a way to change the sensitivity of the auto headlights? I tried doing a search and could not locate any info.

Recently got ceramic tint all around, and the headlights are now constantly turning on and off during the day, which wouldn't be a big problem if it were just the headlights, but the brightness level of everything else, including the indicator lights on every panel keep going dim and bright on and on.

Also, changed the Forscan settings so my DRL bar is orange, but only stays orange when the lights are off, so they turning orange and white, which could be misleading to some cars in front of me.

TIA!

You can't change the sensitivity.

Use the little button(s) to the left of the steering wheel. You can brighten it up.

I understand that. But due to changing conditions in light it’ll go from “daytime brightness” which is max, to my setting which is fully down but still with the daytime white dashboard. And it’ll flicker between the two.

I just change the settings on my sync screen to night mode only and I usually keep my dash lights at the minimum, so I don't notice when it switches back and forth. In fact the only way I know my lights came on is when the indicator shows up on the dash.

My bars are also set to orange for DRL. I really don't think the lights are switching on and off that much to cause confusion. If they were, then your headlights coming on and off rapidly would be the cause for confusion.

Sounds like you need the ceramic coating off the sensor.
The ceramic tint is on the inside of the glass, like a normal tint. The sensor is about 2 inches from the windshield on the dash. If the sensor was attached to the windshield, I would have cut around it being where it is, I'd have to cut a pretty large hole to account for the direction of the sun.

I notice it the most on my hero buttons because they light up pretty bright orange and go very dim. I'll try changing everything to as dim as I can, see if that helps.
And I wish my orange DRLs would stay orange because I prefer that to white.

Might be a bad idea during the darker times of the day.

You can. You can auto control your headlight by overriding auto

Thing is, is the headlights aren’t coming on, I’ve had it happen due to the shade of the sun causing a shadow on the light sensor. I know I can turn my lights on.
