Are the 2 door Broncos safe

I am wondering because of this news we all got about the 3 constraints ( MIC hard top, LUX, and SAS ) if the 2 doors that don't have the 2 other constraints are safe. I know that you will have to remove 2 of the 3 items. But Ford hasn't officially said that 2 doors are excluded from the hard top constraint. It should make sense that it doesn't since you cant get a hard top with on a 2 door from factory.

Yes, you can get a 2 for with hard top. Hard tops are constraint for the 4 doors if you are taking about the new constraint instructions from Ford

Thanks, that would make sense due to the 2 doors only coming equipped with a hard top. But Ford hasnt said anything really. But I am still not hopeful mines gonna get built. They will most likely focus on the 4 doors with soft tops

Read that thread. There's a lot of good info. I'm only on page 53, but yes, Ford told their dealers on Tuesday that 2 doors would come with hard tops so you don't need to switch. They want people to drop 3 things, but on a 2 door you can only drop lux and sas.​

Wording from Ford's slides: "To qualify, customer must remove/change their order to a Bronco without any of the following: MIC Top (Excl. 2-Door), Lux Package, Sasquatch. Note: Existing 2-Door customers can keep their MIC Top (Standard Content)."

Based on the last data we have of the unscheduled order bank, Ford has enough parts to build approximately 65% of the currently ordered 2-doors. As always, it's a moving target.

It would depend on where you are on the list at your dealer vs the others with w 2dr order. They can't build every one currently ordered this year so it's a roll of the dice. Sad thing is that you can't remove the top and that a switch to a 4 door is not a desirable option for most that have them ordered.

That’s not true. You can switch and keep MY price protection/private offer. This has been debunked.

if you’re looking to get the other $2500 offer, you have to get rid of Lux and/or SAS as a 2 door order holder. Simply moving a mic 2dr order without the other 2 sins to a 4 dr soft top, won’t get you the $2500 offer.

also, you can stack both the MY private offer with the $2500 offer.

2 doors were planned as 20% of production by Ford. Approximately 35% of the reservations were 2 doors. It will be a while before Ford catches up.

Non scientific observation, but this weeks posts from folks stating they were scheduled showed a heavy amount of two door orders being scheduled for build. Just saying.
