I'm a little confused here. The OP has a non-Sas Base. My Badlands has a factory 2" lift by comparison, yet the CVs are fine. Doesn't the amount of allowable lift depend on the trim?
If you add lift via body lift or by spring pre-load (adjustable coilovers, perch collar, or your SAS shocks vs the stock hitachi) then it doesn't affect the CV angle.

actually anyway (all but body lifts) you raise suspendtion ride height CV angles increase at ride height…but yeah spring preload doesn't affect CV angles at max compression/droop…

Yes I read the thread.

So whats the consensus?

Got my 2 door base spinning 255/85 16’s (33”). It’s just a weekend runabout with an occasional desert day run. Could use a little boost, mostly for aesthetics, maybe a little less scraping on the trail.

I was thinking 2” spacer lift would suffice. But maybe I should consider having something like the Eibach coil overs swapped in.

Or just leave it (K.I.S.S.) as I am not interested in going down the build evolution path.
