I used the Staun tire deflators (with the quick release tabs). Expensive for what they are, and I've seen knockoffs that others use (but don't have the quick release, which I need, big fingers) that are probably a lot cheaper. With those, I tried tuning them to go to a specific psi but it's a pain, so I just let them go until the psi I want shows up onboard. Take them all off in the same direction I put them on and I'm always within 1psi on all wheels. And I keep them in my glovebox.

YMMV, but if you're looking for something, they are a decent option IMO.
I tired those too but after using APEX valves.....anything else just takes too long.

They're faster if they're opened up. They tend to slow down the closer to the setting they get, and getting them tuned and staying that way is a crapshoot. So I just open them all the way and watch the psi onboard.

I'm sure they are. I'd really rather the valves are installed and NO screwing on required. 34 to 19 psi in 8 seconds is FAST (edited time, since now I have a specific pressure I aim for).

My bad, I thought you said you used them but one got ripped off. Now I understand. ;)

For me, usually always standing around for a few minutes to half hour anyway and that fast, my ADD ass would end up aired all the way down. I usually put them on waiting in line at the nearest park.

People will come over and try talking to me while airing down and it’s like “nopecan’ttalkrightnowwaitingonmycuetoclosethevalveohgoddammitnowweareatthreefuckinshitIgottaairthisfuckerbackupnow”

Correct. So, I currently have on the Apex "screw-on" type. The one I am getting next is the "you gotta remove your tire and install it by replacing the while valve" type :)

Response I received from RTR

THANK YOU so much! My guess was right :) I did their whole measuring thing with the zip tie and its about 1mm. Just wanted to be sure that the rubber base of the valve wasn't blocking more of the depth.

Bought a new set for $60 from a friend who ordered the wrong size! :) #score! It's the STD size. Will be installing tomorrow.

And here it is on an RTR EVO6 wheel........It may not look it in the picture, cause I did a closeup to show how the STD size fits on the rim surface, but the top of the valve cover barely sticks up past the outer rim face. It's PERFECT!

Man......you threw me for a loop there for a minute. I freaked out and thought "Oh shit. He's right! What if my EZ Flate quick-connect chucks don't fit???@!?@!#?@!#"....so I ran to my garage!!!

But they do!!!!! And perfectly! Now it's even better cause my stem doesn't wiggle anymore. It's a straight, firm fit
