That's not the case anymore. Anyone that ordered is legally entitled to get their money back now they will not be delivered; the purchase contract has been breached.
Whether or not anyone gets money back, or there is any left after lawyers is a different question. You can't say heres a product no refunds, cancel it and still be protected by no refunds lol. That's just a scam
What if they charge 20% restocking fee? Other B6g vendors do it…

Customers are different than investors; investors can lose everything because of the risk of investing. Customers in theory pay for a product or service to be delivered. Not delivering is fraud.
This whole deal always looked sketchy, since it really seemed like ADV was funding their own investment with capital raised through pre-orders. Many exit scams replicate this fund-before-development-and-production model, but still, investments. The no-questions-asked refund is actually a part of that kind of fraud. (And yes I know, Kickstarter, but in theory again those are investments in lieu of opportunity, not a sale.)
In the end, if there's anything left to pick over, the customers might (probably?) take a big haircut or lose out entirely. All over some tops. Someone mentioned how this all seems to show ADV didn't really know what they were doing, no matter how you slice it. Which seems about right.

Yeah, the hated restocking fees that disappeared around the time of the dinosaurs and KMart stores going extinct are returning. You have to have something to restock, though. My guess is at best buyers won't be made whole, so a 20% haircut is probably a good resolution, but I think unlikely.

For those that didn't see John from ADV's video, you can view/download it on Google Drive.
I have a very close buddy that's not on here, but had ordered from ADV. He finally switched to TOR and got it today. He had cancelled and requested refund from ADV. They promised him last week that the check has been mailed. This is before the most recent news. I'm hoping ADV is making good of his refund. He's surrounded by some pretty high powered attorneys here in Dallas. This just sucks all around.

Just go ahead and add me to the class action lawsuit.
California has laws in place to prevent this type of thing happening to consumers, so for sure there will be some law suits and ADV and maybe APG will probably go under because of this.
