5-10 minutes. It just sits in some clamps on the roof rails. Would need a small step stool to get above the rack and probably a second set of hands to guide the platform off once unscrewed.

These rails are brand new. Took them off within 50 miles of ownership - no wheeling on them. Trying to recoup some money from hoop steps I had to buy post-delivery. Pickup $150 Delivered $250 Located in 949 area code of SoCal.

I bought the exact same pair. Pretty solid! I like the feel of the stiff bar over the paracord rope, but those are popular and less expensive.
