Why hesitant? The aftermarket trailing arms allow more flex at the ends so should be easier on frame mounts than the less flexible stock arms.
Last time I looked, most that have the cracks had aftermarket lower control arms.

Its a factor of how hard you wheel. The aftermarket rear control arms free up suspension travel and reduce lateral stress. I wouldn't say aftermarket arms help prevent the cracks and highly doubt they make it worse.

Makes sense if they were still running stock uppers. The cracks have been the upper frame mounts I believe. So flexible lowers and stiff uppers would indeed put more stress on the upper mounts. Theoretically anyway.

I’ll report back on that. That’s been my situation for a while now. Decent amount of Northeast off-roading.

@Snacktime, is that a SAS or non SAS control arm in your comparison shot?

Don't think their is any difference between non sas and SAS.

I feel like a chump for paying $300 for the zone UCA's now.
I almost bought zone arms a few times. Still no clue what arms add more caster or have the best joints, it's just a crap shoot at this point

Trade you my Pro Comp stickers for the 4WP sticker!
Mine ended up being the Pro Comp version as well - which I’m cool with. But, doesn’t 4WP have more of a negative history than Pro Comp even though they’re essentially the same thing?

They are the exact same UCA with the exception of the branding. Pro Comp is the manufacturer of a lot of the 4WP branded items.

That’s what I thought and 4WP is dissolving, correct?
