Well poo, they just made the WT the BL by giving it HOSS 3.0 instead of the live action shocks from the RRaptor.

Interesting though, the Everglades, Black Diamond (didn't expect that but sure), WT and HLE are gone, but it DOES say the Base might come back (late availability)?? Although on the BD, it looks like a package on the Big Bend now. Looks like Ford finally got their :poop: together on the Sasquatch branding (assuming it's good/similar to the Stroppe). And no mention of the engine for the Stroppe, but it does say three overall so assume the same as Braptor at best.

Some welcome updates (electric boost brakes et al.), some sorry to see gone losses, fewer of a lot of stuff overall. Can't see this is as a major update.
I saw another article that said the new base is NOT the true Base from 21&22 but just a Big Bend called the Base model.

Well, I think we 2 Door purists knew this would be the plan all along and jumped when we did. Nothing wrong with the 2.3, but I’m happy that I have my 2 Door 2.7 Badlands for sure.

Truth is, the take rate is low and mostly for the enthusiast crowd, which is I guess why the Stroppe Edition. Problem with it is that it‘s likely too pretty for many to want to wheel. I fear this package will be mostly picked up by those who think they’re collecting something.

In the end, the 2.3 is a good choice, but squeezing the 2 Door is sad to see, but was predictable by most of us.
I love my 2 door 2.3 BL. I think/thought it was a good pairing

Deleting the fog light wiring with the mod bumper is just stupid. A switch and a few feet of wires. Probably $50 cost. Make it a $100 option Ford, dont be stupid.
I never got this either. Regardless of bumper type people are going to want some fog lights. More stupid is the whole concept of the modular bumper is you can grow it to more easily fit your needs….unless you need lighting, lol.

The guide shows it’s the true Base having 30” tires on 16” steel rims, clear glass… Big Bend adds 32” tires on 17” aluminium rims, privacy glass, and Mid-Package

But without the gearing, if I am reading this correctly. Also did not see rear diffs included in the BD package, though they were always available as an option on the BB.
It’s all there…

OK, if I read this correctly they've taken the console-mounted grab handle off of the Outer Banks and pushed it to the Sasquatch package. I'll just call that the cash grab handle, Ford.

And of course, they're continuing down the path of making 4A available only SAS as well.

I'll keep my '23, thanks. Correct color, very nice feature set. I'll have to wait for the configurator to play around and make sense of the new configurations.

I guess my 2 door BD with steelies is an instant classic....

I sure hope Ford does not plan to do what jeep does (though it seems that way). With incentive, rebates and haggling you can get a loaded, overpriced Rubicon for $16k under MSRP. Jeep hopes buyers walk on the lot and feel they got a great deal bargaining down $4k.

Am I the only one that was driven to the Wildtrak because of interior color preferences?

For those wondering about the mod top… Look at page 22 where it shows a storage bag for the porthole cover on a 2 door.

Whoa ... screeeech ...... Totally missed that AND 43U / 43V are 2d and 4d HT's. Looks like those bags only shows up in the Badlands (and Stroope 2d) as a dealer installed option. We know only the 2d has the port hole... but what does this mean for the 4d? Is the 4d MOD HT still alive but now only on the Badlands?
I still have super low expectations that this will pan out to being able to get the 4d MOD HT. BUT... now there is still hope. Looks like it is not in the cards for the HE (which imo it should).

Nice catch btw. Some one gets extra credit on their homework.

EDIT - It does call out 2Door specifically. 43U / 43V is just painted black or other. Ugh.. My bad. Can you tell I wanted the MOD HT. Guess dreams of 4 door MOD HT are still gone. Still a nice catch though.

And the Black Diamond package.
Which is interesting to automatically include that since I had to option it on mine.
