Hi All. Recently picked up my new OBX and I'm loving it so far. The only thing frustrating me is that every time I get in the car my screen says I need to unlock my phone to use CarPlay. This was not an issue on my previous Jeep. I opt for USB connection as my partner sometimes uses FaceTime in the passenger seat. The red notification bubbles on apps don't appear as they used to. CarPlay and Facetime do not play well together. So the quick fix is to unplug the phone and let the system revert to bluetooth when these calls must be taken. Using wireless CarPlay just makes this complicated. My phone is running iOS 17. Is there some setting I'm not seeing in my phone Settings that's preventing the phone from being used when it's locked and connected via USB?

U can try on phone to go to settings-general- car play and check that it shows your Bronco. Select your bronco and then on new page check that “Car Play” is turned on.
This did it. Thank you!

This option works for both wired and wireless, FWIW.
