2.7 Left side rattle

Could this be a a heat shield or wastegate rattle? I pulled the wheel and it is not the rotor backing plate.

My son drives it, just noticed today. Actually a friend of his brought it to his attention. Nothing done recently other than I changed the oil a few weeks ago.

Does your son use it to jump stumps? may need to slide up under the old gal and look for issues.

No, but he is not a kid. He is a pilot and this is just a commuter vehicle to the airport.

I'd still slide up under it/ get under the hood. It sounds like something hitting something moving. Could be trapped debris.

Probably the infamous waste gate the fix is new turbo since not serviceable none in stock and no fill date visibility.

I need a right turbo rattles like crazy.

It only happens when up to running temp.

It sounds like a heat shield but I see nothing loose under the truck.
