Sweet! I am about to order the Zone or Rough Country to do the 1 inch divided front and back or two kits to do all corners with the extra top rings. I'll check back in and we can compare later. I just do not want to take the strut apart if I can avoid it.

The Sasquatch pkg is sufficient yet I'd like just a little more increased stance and keep the rear rake to pull the M101A2 camp trailer. I already have to hop up a lil bit and rather not have to rock climb in and rappel out as I do in my 86.
I went with 1 in the front, because Down the road I'm still considering jumping to 37's once my current tires wear off. When that time comes is just matter of moving the 1 inch collar to the back, install a 2 or 2.25 perch collar in the front and do the JKS tire clearance mod.

That is the main reason I ended deciding for the perch collar setup. I got just the 1 inch leveling, do you think I need a Diff drop?
No you definitely don't currently need a diff drop. That's the good thing about the perch collar, stock droop remains and there's really no danger. And with only the one inch at ride height you're still in Normal range.

The coilover length, from frame mounting surface to LCA mounting surface, dictates CV angles. In OEM FDU configuration, the maximum allowable length is very close to 24.3”. At which point CV angles exceed allowable and physically begin to bind. This has been accurately verified, and almost all aftermarket coilover manufacturers adhere to this limit.

Stock SAS coilover length at full extension is 23.3”, so a 1 inch long spacer will not cause CV binding. No diff drop should be necessary. A 1” long spacer on top of SAS shocks will produce roughly a 1.6” lift. Average motion ratio at SAS ride height is 1.6. So general consensus is that >1.5” spacer lift is not recommended.

Perch collars do NOT affect coilover length, so they will not alter CV angles at full extension. They do however, alter the shock equilibrium position at ride height. Resulting in greater available jounce travel than rebound. I prefer having my shocks ride near mid stroke so would not opt for a perch collar.

Well now, that is some good info!

Thanks for putting some numbers to the mechanics we have been mulling over.

Yup, I agree with Z^. For stock shocks the Zone kit is arguable the best option for a mild front lift. It keeps the axle geo in safe ranges, shifts your bump stops down for larger tires, maintains stock travel.
The perch collars also dont change the spring rate, they just change the preload, so the end of travel (droop) gets much harsher, but the neutral spring rate is the same.
The Zone kit is also adjustable, so you can do increments of .25” to dial in exactly what you want.

I'm wanting to gain some front end height from what I lost with the winch addition. This thread has been helpful. Thank you all

Made the discission to get two kits and raise the front 1, and the rear 1/2 inch using the upper ring spacers. I want to maintain a little rake with the tow and load consideration.
I'll share the before and after when I do finally get them, and have a chance to install. That may be a few months seeing how we all have a foot of snow and 0 degree temps.

Found a set of leveling kit spacers for $34 on Amz, so figure that would work on the rear just as well as the MotoFab for $43 from Extreme Terrain. This should boost up the Sas a bit and still maintain the OEM ride and performance. Come on Spring!!! Cat Daddy needs some project and camping weather!

Kit istalled. Got exactly 1 inch of lift. My Bronco measured 40 inches in the rear and 38.5 in the front. (from the floor to the edge of the sas fender) now im 39.5 in he front for just 0.5 inches of "rake"

Looks good, the 1" in the front usually gets it real close to level and usually just a slight rake like that.

Looks as it should! That is the stance I am going for.

I have both of the 1 inch level kits on hand, just need a thaw out to make it happen. Still a foot of snow on the ground.......stupid cold.
It sits 3/4 inch high in the rear as of now, but think I will put the 3/8 spacer on the rear and the two 1/4 inch spacers top and bottom of the front strut. I'll post those pics when it happens. This winter has been a hemorrhoid to all my plans.
