Not sure why this item isn't standard package equipment. It does make a HUGE difference on bug soup on the windshield. Only the largest rocks and insects seem to get through.
I went with something different. Im running 37/12.5 Blackhawk Ridgecrawlers on 17x9 +12 Rock Trix. I have a slight offset poke that still allows clearance with only a level kit installed on the BL Sas.
I asked that question a few K ago and they (dealership) informed me it should be done every 30K. So, I did mine at 22K. Lol
If you are planning on doing frequent changes, might look into a rear diff cover and an aluminum transmission pan. I took care of all that at the same time. I might do...
That was a super sweet presentation! We will be hitting those trails in mid October.
Our fall trail trip will be staged out of Callies again to revisit Spaas and Punkin. Brushy and Clifton are now on the itinerary. We will do some weekday wheeling and avoid the crowds. Lol
Anyone in the...
Try using the Tire Wizard and see what it reads the true tire size to be. My 37/12.5/17 had to be loaded as a 35.25 to get close to what the Wizard and my Google GPS was saying my MPH was really. I am now trying to recall what my original setting was at with the 315/70s so I can rotate back...
I am looking for the factory setting numbers that are for the GoodYear 315/70/17 Sas tires.
I will be swapping back to those for the winter after my wheeling season.
We traveled from OK to IN for over a decade, always chuckling when we passed this on the highway. My kiddos who are 11 and 9 have enjoyed the jokes the last few years when given the opportunity.
We did make a couple stops over the years and can say it was interesting. Lol
Our new "stop" is...
Well.....I'm not. Lol I'm good with maxing out at 37s. If I was going to run 40s, I'd be looking into full kit.
It still rides quite nice, such as before. I have had to play with tire pressure to get it tuned in. Surprisingly I went very low in psi with the larger tires. I have 29 front...
I did my BL Sas with just a 1 1/4 front and 1/2 rear spacer lift, with no major mods.
Decided to go with a slight dif offset of +12. compared to the +30 of the Sas rims.
Most of the 37s will measure closer to 36, so as long as you are starting with a Sas set up, it is easier to mitigate.
It...
Here is a neat question for all of us who was using this for running 37s and speedo calibration.
What was the stock tire diam for the Sasquatch package????
I remember seeing it before I changed it and thought, "oh ya, I better write that down."
Please and thank you!?
I had all the modes and was having issues with the tire diam setting that was causing the earlier WRENCH and 403 code. I thought that it might be contributing and I didn't really need an ECO Mode.....just happy adding the Sport! So I just have 7, that's plenty!
I figure if any one on this...
Thought it was fitting on a bad ass Badlands.
I went with BRO in white, so it would match my name given to me by my high-school students...... Brocephus Maximus III.
Thus far, with my set up of a 1 1/4" front and 1/2" rear level kit, the 37s....aka 36s fit fine and only rub when fully compress, with sway bar disc, and at full turn. That's not going to happen much.
I have since installed the Bro-Flaps Premium on the front and they are PERFECT for my 37s and...
That is frustrating!
Well, the fact there is no response from RM is the single real issue. The supply chain and the fact that there needs to be an awareness, and a revamp, on the RM side of ordering their supplies. Heck, a big ole "sorry and we will fix this" would be appreciated.
I've...
