Running back to back brings in IC heat soak trending. Which is fine if it's at the same temp for every run. IAT temps would be a good indicator of the consistency of soak you're dealing with. The Sport mode variance is interesting. It'll be a great piece of info once you figure it out. Good stuff. I love that there are folks like yourself out there doing diligent testing to make it easier for armchair people like meSo I made an interesting discovery about the Bronco modes when doing performance runs. As it turns out, my Bronco feels faster in "Normal" mode. Faster than sport mode. I put this to the test and did two back to back runs, on the same stretch of road. I also launched them at the same RPM (2.6K RPM) Sport mode not only didn't feel as fast, but there was also more wheel hop. Here's the numbers below to prove it.
The left screenshot is in Sport mode and the right is normal.

As mentioned, even around town driving feels faster in normal mode. I suspect it has to do with how the RaceChip set to level 5 interacts with sport mode while also allowing for a more aggressive launch. In normal mode, I don't get any or much wheel hop. She hooks and goes. Wondering if I could have shaved off a tenth or so off my time...this whole time![]()
