Items with red dot are controlled by the computer / GOAT mode, not the user.

One more thing not in these tables that is apparently controlled only by GOAT mode is "Brake Over Accelerator". Per the manual, "Brake Over Accelerator" is disabled in all off-road GOAT modes (Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock, Baja).
I've always wondered if that was a possibility. Uncheck all of the boxes and only leave sport in the lineup. Would it just brick the vehicle?I gotta figure out how to delete normal and Eco, start my baby in Sport

Disabling BOA should be helpful if you're doing left-foot braking to help control throttle response when crawling.
As I understand it, when "Brake Over Accelerator" is enabled, firm steady pressure on the brake pedal will reduce engine power. Meant to be a safety feature for runaway accelerator.
When "Brake Over Accelerator" is disabled (in any off-road GOAT mode), engine power will NOT be reduced with firm steady braking.
I've done left-foot braking, but only in off-road GOAT modes - and it works fine. I haven't tried it in non-off-road mode, but I'm guessing it could behave unexpectedly. Imagine this situation: In "Normal" GOAT mode with firm steady braking and a depressed accelerator - BOA would reduce power, but then as soon as you release the brake the depressed accelerator kicks in - could cause a lurch. I haven't tested...just hypothesizing.
My off-road approach is to select an off-road GOAT mode, then setup everything else as desired.
I don't think there's a way to default a mode other than Normal. Have you confirmed that feature? Deleting/adding GOAT modes--sure.Flashcal+ can do this
Yep....if you're in sport when you turn off the vehicle the next time you start up it will ask if you wish to stay in sport mode. Select yes and she stays in sport.I don't think there's a way to default a mode other than Normal. Have you confirmed that feature? Deleting/adding GOAT modes--sure.
That's the same with any mode, and you don't need Flashcal for that. I thought you were referring to the last mode sticking without needing to manually confirm every time.Yep....if you're in sport when you turn off the vehicle the next time you start up it will ask if you wish to stay in sport mode. This would kill me just a little more added to the lame seat belt screen that I have to click out of. Belts are already muscle memory to me, leave me tf alone. That's the same with any mode, and you don't need Flashcal for that.
