Really expected Ford to add hood struts when they brought the ‘Improved Jeep’ Bronco 6G. Same for the missing gas struts on the soft top version. First things that I added to my ride.

I just wonder, how would they hold on a very windy day.... just thinking aloud

Just installed these a few days ago. Sure is nice to have the extra 8 inches and for the price and a lifetime warranty it’s a good value. I left the rod as a back up but these work nicely.

I used my points and got mine through Ford Performance. The struts and all the hardware look identical. I'm guessing one makes them for the other.

I’ve read a lot about many of the hood strut options flexing the weak aluminum at the mount point on the hood. Steeda makes one that has much larger reinforced brackets to protect the aluminum. Anyone see the hood bending and flexing at the attachment point?

I’ve had/noticed zero problems with the redline tuning ones. I chose these over other options that mounted in a way it blocked access from the side of the engine bay.

I haven't installed them on my Bronco yet, but I installed them on my Subaru back in 2013. It also has an aluminum hood. No bending.

Have had them on a little over a year and no issues so far.

Same here - high-rise redlines on '23 2-door. No plans to replace my Bronco but if I did these would be on the short list of quick changes I'd make again.

Had my redline tuning struts for over a year. No flexing at all and I'm under the hood a lot more than your average bear.

This was my first mod to my Bronco. Already installed them on my wife's Bronco. I found out about these at a car show with my Mustang when the wind lifted my hood out from the prop rod. The rod dropped but I caught the hood. It was always in the way during service. I understand the height issue for some. Factory installed ones on my F350 require me to pull down on the prop rod to close the hood because not being able to reach the hood latch.
