Where thereās a will thereās a way. Unmount spare, muscle if off tailgate, roll to front of vehicle, lay on its side (for safety, trust me on this one), close hood, reverse steps. Sure it adds 10 minutes and a couple of tools to simply top off your washer fluid but struts are like super cool š
I got the same ones. At 5ā 10ā I grab the latch on the hood to pull it down. I suspect this would be achievable down to about 5ā 6ā before tippy toes get involved š

Idk how your Bronco is set up, but mine being a manual Sasquatch I donāt ever climb a hill below 3k. At 2k on flat ground mine seems starved of power and really likes being above 2600. I wonder if staying out of boost while in a climb could be contributing to your heat gain?
