Certainly not a new topic but new to me since I’m having fun with my new Bronco, driving the past few days with the doors and top off. I was careful to put the important stuff like my keys and wallet in zippered pockets. However, it didn’t take long before something fell out! Lost my left slip on shoe when I thought I’d be cool and rest my foot on the lower door hinge. Fortunately it dropped on a street that I could double back and get it without a huge risk.
Other than that, I about lost my hat when everything was seemingly happy to be where they were at and then a passing truck’s bow wave of air just blew in sideways and lifted my hat off my head! I noticed the front passenger floor mat was flopping around and if not for the single attach point, looked as if it would easily fly out.
So, what have you personally lost while driving with the top and/or doors off? Anyone lose anything important?
