Sorry - I re-used the harness for the sensors and fogs on the new bumper.
I do have the complete factory fogs, including both sides of the harness as those plugs were not compatible with the lights I put in the bumper.
Swapped out my factory capable bumper that had a little run in with a pony wall. Passenger side is bent back a about 2" and plastic had to be trimmed. Has all mounting hardware and factory fog lights. Free to good home. I live in Carefree, but am willing to meet somewhere in the North part...
Seen that warning before myself. I had my trusty thermo-mug full of coffee in the cup holder when it happened. The Bronco ought to be smart enough to know that!
Used the factory scissor jack last week to swap a tire that got punctured - passed a grater on the forest road and had to go over the rock pile he was leaving in the center of the rd. A couple of miles later, noticed a definite lean to the drivers side. Tire pressure display confirmed with 4lbs...
Swapped my capable bumper for a Westin XTS I picked up from a member on here. Moving the sensors and harness was easy enough (thanks to the miracle of zip ties), but now they are overly sensitive.
Seems like they beep if something as small as an ant crosses my path. I carefully marked each...
Sand mode gets you more aggressive throttle and shift points. I like sand mode for higher speed forest roads, but have to turn off the rear locker 99% of the time I switch to it. I usually stick with normal for most slower cruising on what passes for a forest road here. Occasionally use rock...
I got in on this too. I can give you specifics for my case:
Rig: Badlands Squatch with factory 35" Goodyears.
Air up time - from taking compressor out of the bag to putting it back in: 20 mins
Battery used per airup: 50% (came with 2 batteries, so 4 air ups with no charge)
Pressure: 18lbs...
The packrats here are insane. They managed to haul about 200lbs of crap (both literal dog crap and cactus bits/gravel/wood/etc) up into the belly of our 5th wheel RV when we had it. Thankfully, they did not cause any actual damage. After I got it all cleaned out, I put a long string of x-mas...
Nothing to do with a Toyota :cwl:
We were tooling around near Saguaro lake one evening and stopped to watch sunset and eat the dinner we packed. Wife took the taco meat out of the hot bag and set it on the hood as I was setting up the little foldable camp table. It suddenly started sliding...
We use the heck out of the tailgate table. Bought the Mabbett version 1.0 one on sale for around $160. We tend to do a lot of exploring/hikes and have lunch near the tailgate. Drag out folding chars and soft cooler from the back seat. This makes a nice prep area and spot to keep random lunch...
It reduces, but does not eliminate the need for a spotter in the rocks. I find it most useful when the view out the windshield is just hood and sky.
As others have said, it flattens things out, so only useful if you get a good look at what your going over before hand. The 'tire' view is great...
22 BadLands Sasquatch 2.7 w/ completely stock engine, running gear and tires. If you wanna test in a blast furnace, I am in the Phoenix area. Also make frequent rips in the summer up to 8,000 ft to get out of the heat. We get out at least once a month to the trails, so a good mix of on and...
Same here back in '19. I did it solo as I did not want offroad noob tourists with me. Told the driver to give it all he's got as I'm experienced off road. He did not disappoint - we ended up sliding down a steep dune sideways. He later confessed that he thought we were going over for sure...
Went out last week. Aired up from 18 - 36 in 20 minutes total - from the time I grabbed the bag out of the back until I put it back. A bout 1/2 the time it took with my now retired 17 year old battery clip compressor. I have the standard batteries that came with the deal - used 1/2 of 1...
Replaced the battery in the wife's BMW last year. The car needs to be programmed for the new battery. If you just swap in a new one without having the programming done, the car's charging system will kill the new battery. So, over $400 for her new battery - after a 15% off coupon from the...
Mine consistently runs hotter with the A/C OFF. Colling fan is on all the time with A/C on. With no A/C, the colling fan does.not kick on until the collant is hot enough to see oil temp is up into the 230s.
Last time I did Montanna mtn about a year and a half ago - east to west on the loop, so all the rocks at the end of the new path (they re-routed some of it a while back due to all the ATVs)
Damn near tipped the rig over on it's right side up the hill because "I don't need the rear locker on...
I think this depends on the A/C system. My high package with the dual zone auto A/C does not engage ASS all summer long here in the blast furnace. Once it starts cooling down, I'll notice my ASS working again in the evenings, then all day long now that it's actually cool out.
Folks with the...
This:
This compressor is not designed for 1 tire at a time and should be used with a 4 tire hose system. You can still air up a single flat if you need to, but the duty cycle dwindles to 2min doing 1 tire at a time. Airing up an entire vehicle, 1 tire at a time, will damage the Trickflate.
So...
