Well done! I remember you winning these doors and not being very enthusiastic about it. It's cool you, maybe with a little nudge from wifey, tried them out and gave an honest opinion. I don't have experience with the EZ doors, but I love the tube door configuration. The visibility and open air is awesome. Hopefully they would keep legs 'n' stuff in the cab during a slow roll over. I've learned to stash sweat pants and a sweat shirt during summer and my interior will be FOREVER dusty with Tahuya silt, but I still love 'em!

Nice write up! Kind of like winning one of those class action lawsuits when not sending back the paperwork yet getting more than 10.00! @Squatch, assuming you can afford the rent these days in Moab and still make money, I’d rent them from you. Will it include you taking on and off the real doors without doinking the corners?

That would have to be included right? Pull the OEM doors and store them while the tube doors are being used, then swap them out upon return. Might not be feasible as a standalone business but might not be a bad idea as a service.

They look great! I too won a set last year. Aside from a few wrong items shipped, EZ rectified the situation promptly.. I also bought their door cart (which definitely had some thought put into it's design and is well made). I haven't installed my tube doors yet as life has been chaotic since, but I am looking forward to installing mine as well.

As a fellow functional retard who somehow landed a hot wife who wheels and wrenches, and also a non-fan of tube doors, I found this review quite entertaining. Once again thank you for sharing your toilet-time musings with us, they are always a worthy read :)

Had these exact ones on my Wrangler 392, and just received a set for my new Bronco. Best Tube doors on the market and stellar cust service is a Win Win for me!

You have to donk the corners! It's all part of the experience. We're even going to sell tshirts, bumper stickers, and of course patches that say, "I got donk'd at Squatch's Tube 'N' Tug, Moab, UT"

I've thought about tube doors, but I would only use them on-road. I can't believe how much dust and dirt gets inside when we off-road with doors closed and windows up. Just getting in and out seems to allow enough that we always take home a little Moab or Sand Hollow with us. 😁 Tube doors are still on my "Tier 2" list, though.

I use a leaf blower, all doors, windows everything open. Then a wet beach towel and go crazy in there. Doesn't get all of the cracks and vents and everything, but it passes the quick eye test. No telling how much dust and dirt has piled up on my dash speakers/tweeters under the cover. I should probably pop those off and boost decibels by 20%.

I do the same thing

It has ruined a set of dash speakers and there is dirt trapped under the glass of my IPC though.

Huh...maybe we should start a club.
Wait, never mind...you said wrenches. One letter really does make alot of difference.

@SierraBronco , going to ask you the same question I asked JCR when they released their tube doors...How many sausages can I hang from the door to dry cure while I am wheeling in the desert? Pics appreciated
