Can folks confirm long term success with Dongar? I don’t need the constant monitoring and really just need it on while driving, rear view camera to see behind due to obstructed view, etc.

Install:
First thing I did was install the fuse connections
***EDIT*** Changed the fuses to 37 and 25 for constant power
After disconnecting the battery, use these little guys and connect the red (ACC) to fuse 37 and the yellow (BAT) to fuse 25. You just remove whatever fuse is currently in that spot, place it into the empty slot shown below

Thanks for this post. I had mine hooked up to 3 and 37 and my battery drained. I need the parking mode so I will try 37 and 25.

Few videos on youtube have different configs. Is this still the best option?

I’ve been running it since this post was made with no issues!

Is the raptor fuse panel different? I have 2025 Bronco Badlands, should I use 37 and 25 instead of 3 and 37?

Maybe it’s buried in this thread or somewhere else, but I haven’t found it…

Is there a clear comparison between the benefits/drawbacks of using the ODB power vs Fuse taps vs the Donger?

I have my TriPro powered by ODB right now, but not sure if that is the best option.

Donger and the USB taps don't seem to pull as much power as needed. I went that route on wiring my brother's Tripro. Made the cam glitchy and unpredictable, plus it would overheat. I switched to a fuse tap and immediately all those issues went away.

Thanks for this. I did an install using an older USB-A output Dongar cable I had lying around. I'll run the taps probably. It's really only a 30m job.

I’ve had no issues with the Dongar on my Bronco using the TriPro - it’s a non-Raptor, but came w Lux package. I’ve used it with all three cameras, and the gps sensor. This is the one I’m using:

Dongar Classic - Dash cam Power Adapter (16-Pin Type A) for Ford Vehicles.

I previously tried another brand mentioned on here previously but it didn’t work well at all (folosem- no link bc it stank)

Thanks all. What’s the downside of using the ODB for power? That seems like the easiest and I don’t see people talk about it nearly as much. The Wolfbox site says it may not be powered the whole time when off, depending on the vehicle itself, but haven’t located specifics about the Bronco itself. There is also a mention that it may be harder to hide the wires, but that was easy. Is the problem with the ODB just that you can’t use the port for something else and a dealer may unplug it?
