Some of what he says in his videos is correct, some is not.
He complains about the interior plastics, but has no problem with them in the new 4Runner. I was about to buy a 6Gen 4runner before I bought my Bronco. The plastics in the 6Gen 4Runner are garbage, and the fit is terrible.
But he had no problem with them in the 4Runner.
I have a few small nits with my 2025 Bronco and as well, but, overall, I love it. Was it expensive? Yes. Did I pay more than I expected or thought I should have had to have paid? Yes. But, folks, I'm not disappointed at all.

This truck is easy to live with, even as a daily driver or on LONG road trips, of which I have now completed 2.

I think the vehicle is comfortable, pleasing to look at, great to drive, and very adaptable to my needs.

The dude did strike one important nite with me right in the last minute of the video. I tend to keep my vehicles longer and drive the wheels off the them ... how reliable and durable will my truck be in 10 years.

I'd be really interested in hearing the opinions of you high mileage First Edition types after 5 years of usage, WRT reliability and durability.

Thanks!

I guess I'm a fanboy, but he didn't really criticize it harshly. He just said he doesn't understand the design choice. Glad you guys with real world maintenance experience are here to guide us.
I get it. It’s far from the worst video I’ve ever seen. There are things in the video I certainly agree with.

It’s just some of the things he mentions or the way he mentions them just personally irks me lol

Surprised that the pricey Stroppe he reviewed doesn’t have power seats but the more affordable Badlands with Lux does.

Reviewer was jazzed about the mirrors being connected to the body instead of to the doors, but didn’t mention that design feature also makes the doors that much easier to take off and store.
My Lux Badlands doesnt have power seats. Weird.

That, cooled seats and rear vents would be nice though. Also, since my daughter got her permit I've spent a little time in the back seat on occasion while she drove with my wife up front. The back seats need one more recline position. Feels like you're sitting at attention in the military or something. Plenty of room in back, though. Just weird sitting straight up like that.

That was pretty cringy.....half the time you can't tell if he likes or dislikes certain things with all of his weird facial mannerisms.

What’s with people’s poo-poo on the wet belt? I haven’t ever heard of one needing to be changed.
There have been issues with the wet belt in the tiny Ecoboost engines.
Have not heard of any in the 2.7.
Still glad I don't have one. 🤣

Yeah, they are. Not sure why he didn’t know that considering everything else he said.

Betcha he confused the 1st and 2nd gen 2.7L engine when he was doing his research. If I remember right, the first gen was direct injection.

Edit: Actually, scratch that. The 1st gen also had a chain-driven oil pump, and he knew it was belt driven.

So... 🤷‍♂️ . ChatGPT strikes again, probably.

Looks like this Stroppe is what Ford lends out for influencers to review. It’s got the same license plate seen in all other YouTube Stroppe reviews.
They have no shortage of Stroppes to loan out…

Just for clarification. The power seats in the moar door is not a function of LUX package. It is whether one opted for leather. Leather in the moar door gets you power seats. MGV in the moar door does not. And it was mentioned earlier, no 2-dr gets power seats regardless of seat option (Cloth/MGV/Leather).

None of the two doors have power seats... I think it has to do with the flip forward for access to the rear.

The thing about that thats weird is my Mustang has power seats and the lever in the back flips it forward just fine. I'd think they could easily add in a latch that disconnects the slider mechanism from the motor allowing you to glip forward and slide at the same time.

I seem to recall my 2014 doing that. Could have been another car but the point is that it has been done.

I get not having power with the hose down interior though. Too many failure points.

I came to actually say this. I don’t think you want power down low, where it could possibly get wet.

I don't get it Bronco is a relatively cheap vehicle if want Lux SUV fork out the 180K+ or blow $20-30K on Bronco interior and feel like a $300K car.
Pretty much every car is a disposable appliance now....

Plastics being an issue in the Bronco? That's rich.

Mine is now 3 years old and I wheel, rarely clean it, interior dusty constantly and the truck overall takes a beating; yet somehow, almost like magic, not one issue. My interior has held up great and I still love this truck as much as the day I ordered it back in July 2020, took delivery in Feb 2023, til today.

These reviewers and the things they can nitpick about kill me. Glad you guys say he liked it overall.

When did Ford start putting on a rear sway bar on the 2 doors? Mine doesn’t have one on my badlands.
