Any company offer a locking gas cap for the bronco?

Absecon, NJ Train Station. Off of Rt 30. Happened in 2020 if I remember correctly. Replaced the tank myself at home in my garage. I was as shocked as you. I kept the clunker because I thought the car would not draw attention to it at the station when I parked there. Now I park at Egg Harbor City. Better lighting and more local patrols since there is a town park in the same area as the station.

The Rav4 has a hump in the gas tank, Even though the tank was pretty full I figure they only got about 4 gallons of gas.

Don't need a drill, had 2 holes (one to vent) punched in my 97 Rav4 gas tank at a train station parking lot. If they want it, they will get it......Love NJ!

They're pretty desperate to take that risk but yes. If they want it they’ll figure out a way to get it …. Where i’m from folks get shot for less. Or bitten….. Alot

Its literally a pain in the ass to get anything other than a pump gas nozzle past the safety door. Its about impossible to get gas from a gas can or siphon into the tank without the Funnel they give you next to the jack.

Your Bronco should have come with a funnel specifically for pouring gas from a can into the filler neck. Or ours did, anyway.

I'll be damned! Never even thought about that, but just checked and sure enough, sitting with the jack in the back. That would've been nice to have realized a few weeks ago!! I learned something new today, thanks!!

Are you stating that you had gas siphoned out of your Bronco?

Sorry, previous vehicle but same uncapped intake style. I've had my Bronco for about 3 months now, no issues yet.

My advice. 3 parts.
1- Don't buy a locking gas cap. It's pointless. If someone is going to steal your gas, they'll poke a hole in the tank anyway.
2- Move to a nicer area if you're that concerned. If you can afford a new car, you can afford to move out of the slums.
3- Don't bet on slow horses

Has anyone found a locking gas cap for the bronco? Getting ready of purchase a Badlands and a little concerned that the gas door dose not lock and of course there is not gas cap. It would be cool if the gas door locked. I would settle with a locking gas cap.

Yeah most vehicles that have the 'capless spout' now come with a funnel somewhere, usually around the jack or spare tire, that is specifically included to be able to fuel up from a gas can. Our Expedition has one too. My old Ram had a capless system, but it was a diesel so the flap at the top was larger to accept the larger diesel nozzles at truck stops, so it didn't come with one.

Ordered and got this. Very nice. Unfortunately, doesn't even come close to fitting my Raptor. Anyone confirm? I know the Raptor has a different door, but didn't suspect that would effect fit of this.

Also, now, how the heck do I get it off?

Ordered and got this. Very nice. Unfortunately, doesn't even come close to fitting my Raptor. Anyone confirm? I know the Raptor has a different door, but didn't suspect that would effect fit of this.

Your saying you installed it, and it interferes with the door closing? Damn it.
