19 would be 10 mpg better than my f150 is getting right now. 1 mile commute and an hour of remote starting every work day takes a toll.
When I saw 1 hour of auto start, I had to look back for your screen name. I am up here in Fairbanks for the last two weeks, and borrow cars so that they have a legit auto start! :)

I've currently got an old 98 Tacoma with the 3.4l and 260k miles. High mpgs are something I've not known for quite some time. I'm not expecting stellar fuel economy from my base 2door with squatch, but if 19mpg here is to be believed, that's already a few better than I get currently! All in all, better or worse, doesn't matter to me! I'm not in it for the fuel economy!

I just refuse to get into a cold vehicle, everything I own has a remote start and I park in a 70 degree garage at night.

Last April I changed jobs and went from a 8 mile one way commute to now a 1 mile commute one way. So I’m driving less but fuel mileage has taken a hit for comfort.

I don't know why people think it is so inconceivable that you could pull 19mpg from a new Bronco. My 1994 Land Rover pulled 18 new and still can get mid teens and weights way more, is way less areo efficient and uses fuel injection from the 80's.
This is part of the benefits of all that plumbing you are all so afraid of in the under hood pictures.
Time will tell.

If it gets 13 mpg
If it gets 25 mpg

I don’t care... I will be still be buying my bronco... I’m not concerned with fuel mileage on a off road vehicle, if I were I would be shopping Toyota Prius...
I can't wait for the complaints from upset buyers who didn't know what they were getting themselves into.

"It gets bad gas mileage" "it doesn't drive like a car" "My old Honda had less wind noise"

It's gonna be hilarious

Oops! My bad. I thought the thread police were hassling me. Sry.

I saw it on the avg mpg screen as 19.0, but wasn't sure if that was a fake screen. I figured the trip screen is more enlightening and not something I'd seen before.

I'll be happy if my 2.7 sasquatch gets 19mpg on the highway.

And the new sasquatch owners with 35" tires. Not sure people understand how big those tires are. A wrangler with 35's looks huge compared to a stock Rubicon. My G500 dwarfs a stock one and it only has small 34's and a 1.6" spacer lift.

Undecided
My 2012 Ford Edge 6-cylinder only gets in the teens in city driving. It distinguishes itself on long and flat highways where the mileage goes way up but it’s a pig in the city.

And that’s coming from someone who drives it gently and first learned to use a light touch on thirsty carburetor vehicles from the 70s and even 60s. My first fuel injected car was a technological marvel compared to the pencil and starter fluid rust buckets that I first learned on.

So don’t be surprised at getting crap mileage in the city in your Bronco. It will depend heavily on how you step on that gas pedal. Stomp on it and your wallet will fly away like you’re in an old school cartoon.

use a light touch and look downfield to manage your coasting into traffic lights. If you watch the light and let a red turn green before you get there then you’ll do much better.

Of course, the young booger eaters and those compensating for small third legs will ignore this advice. The board of directors at Big Oil Company thanks you sincerely for your impatience.
