Katzkin. They’re actually better than ventilated as they use the Peltier effect to provide cooling, not just circulating cabin air. Removing the heating coils in lieu of blowing heated air is also significantly better. I can last about 29 seconds on the conventional heated seats but with heated air I actually use them all the time.The fact that you went aftermarket for ventilated seats is pretty much my whole argument in one sentence. Ford stopped taking your money, but you didn’t stop spending it.
I’m curious what you used for the aftermarket ventilation and how well it works. I’m already looking at whether I can add ventilation to my Raptor seats without giving up the Raptor bolstering.
As far as the Raptor bolstering they’ll retain it but you can also ask the upholstery shop to upgrade the foam while they’re in there. Big improvement and costs very little
