I did the deep dive on the forums and youtube videos right after I bought my bronco for aftermarket parts. I really liked the Oracle options aesthetically and pricewise, and I'm shocked that these issues have persisted since product release.

I ended up going with Morimoto for the taillights as I had the XB heads and tails on my '15 F-150 and loved them and the quality.

My @ORACLE Lighting tails are still functioning great & mine fall under their added warranty. However...not waiting for them to act up later so just placed order for Morimoto during 20% off 4th of July sale. Then I'll have Morimoto all around. :D

Well, I noticed Friday night, as I was hooking up my trailer to run to Lowe's, that my passengers side light has done the same as the rest of yalls. Mine are just a hair over 2 years old... No other light looks good to me, so I'll be throwing the stock ones back in! I'm glad I had a bad feeling about these lights, after reading the reviews a couple years ago, and kept them! I hate the OEM tail lights, but have no choice now...

That was me who asked them hoping to find out what they fixed. Only for them to say there never was an issue for Broncos. Unreal... If they can't say what they fixed and deny there was ever an issue, how can I have any confidence in a replacement light?

So I am not taking their 15% discount offer to continually replace Oracle lights that fail after 12-15 months, just outside warranty.

Instead I bought these $69 eBay LED lights. While I prefer the Oracle Flush design, I can accept this design for the price, especially . They came with resistors mounted high on the lights away from road spray, plug and play for halogen replacements, reuses OEM bracket so it fits great without trimming and using spacers like Oracle. Even if these fail and I have to replace these every 12 months like Oracle lights, at least it'll be inexpensive! 🤪

I'm done with Oracle branded anything...

Update: Cheap China tails are still working perfectly nearly 15,000 miles later! Although the initial low price seems to be in the $150 range now.

What's the time frame on that 15K miles?

I ask because for my brother that was just a few months of driving while for myself it is about 2 years .

For me, 8 months, 15k miles. Just a representation of being used with many cycles for the brake, turn, and tail lights while still functioning properly. Another 8 months and they'll have about matched my failed Oracle lifespan. 😂

Yea, if I hadn't kept my OEM LED ones, I would've bought the Morimoto ones. When I installed the Oracles, something in my mind said, maybe I should keep these OEM lights? I honestly wish I kept more of my stock parts at this point in time... If I ever did want to sell it, I know most people wouldn't like it the way it is....

So true... In my experience most aftermarket is low grade unless high dollar or from just a handful of companies that have no questions 100% exchange or refund.

In the last 5 years the only aftermarket that's proven worth are forged wheels, audio, Kavaca ceramic window tint. Everything else was a waste of money and time.

Not true with my build, the tail lights seem to be the low grade part I installed, but everything else on my Bronco are quality parts, from well known companies.

Lucky.....all I can find are ALU skids that cost $200 to make selling for over 1.2K, and a bunch of stuff that just a adds weight.

However, the $10K.active coilovers are attractive as are the $10K.seats that don't have side bags.

I've had Wrangler 2drs in the past and used MetalCloak products then, expensive, but good quality and yes, they're heavier... When my wife and I were planning on what parts to put on, (since we offroaded a lot back in the Wrangler days), we wanted good skids for both our Bronco's, so mine has all MC skids and hers has MC/DV8 skids, as she liked the black color over the zinc/gold color.

We had high expectation or offroading together, but unfortunately we haven't been able to go offroading as much as we used too... So here lately, they've just been pavement princesses, LOL! We went riding offroad a whopping one time last year... So far, none this year.... Life/work just keeps getting in the way...

My front bumper is a beast and quite heavy, but it's an LOD brand, good quality. My rear bumper is better than the plastic OEM POS, but it's a cheaper bumper. Wife chose DV8 for her bumpers. I also am not spending ridiculous amounts of money on a lift, my Procomp adj coilovers have been great so far! My wife is short, so she stayed with the stock lift and Bilsteins. Also, our interiors are stock, as we both feel like the seats are good enough as is. We also both have stock radio/speakers, there's no need to change them out...

I know everyone has different tastes, but there's no way in hell I'd spend $8-$10k on coilovers and never go offroad at all!

With all the money I spent, building both of our Broncos, the Oracle tail lights were definitely junk, and they seem to be the only item on my Bronco that was super expensive and turned out to be trash! I loved the way they looked on the Bronco though and nothing else out there is like it! My wife wanted them on hers at first, she said she liked them on their website, but once I got them in hand, she said no for hers and I'm glad she didn't want them now!

But Oracle is handling this all wrong, they need to either give us a refund, partial/full or replace them with these new "upgraded" lights... I literally don't have 5k miles on mine over the last 2 years and a week ago, the drivers side failed...

Sorry to ramble on, I was just bored and had some stuff on my mind this morning...
