Could be something to do with the resistors needed for the halogen replacements. I suspect there are more halogen owners who "upgraded" to Oracles since many of the Signature lighting LED owners are mostly satisfied with their OEM upgraded LEDs from Ford.
Yea, that makes sense! I didn't have a problem with how the stock Signature tail lights looked, but after I got the Oracle's, they were now my favorite by far!

I'm trying to replace a bunch of old halogen bulbs in my almost 40 year old Mustang and it hasn't been easy... I got everything in the rear converted to LED, but the front isn't playing nicely... I do have LED headlight bulbs, but the front marker lights and signals do not like being LED, even with resistors...

Agreed, the Oracle design is my favorite too. I just couldn't handle the ongoing issues and despite the extended warranty, lack of confidence that they'd last.

I've got a 26 year old TransAm and hate the lighting at night, but I don't drive it much after dark. LED upgrades would be great for it. Best of luck to you!

This is my third Oracle tail light to fail, I quit. Waste of money. They company has handled it well, but regardless of how nice they are, the quality is poor and would require a full redesign to fix. I'm installing FORM tails today and from what I've heard, the quality and features out perform Oracle all day. Time will tell, but I don't have the patience or time to replace broken Oracle tails once a year, warranty or not. 🤷‍♂️

Did your Oracles replace OEM bulb or LED tail lights?

Like I said, mine have been in there 2 years without an issue... I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Non-LUX vs LUX models?

Awesome! I hope they last for you. They're not all bad of course, just a high rate of failure sadly. And I love the style, and needed the flush fit they my tailgate and tire were set up before, now I don't need the flush anymore for clearance.

I don't think Oracle or customers, from what I've heard, have noticed a difference on trim levels they are installed on, but who knows.

yes count them if you will. Four tail lamps here three lefts and one right. Two lefts and the right all have bad center segments. It’s only a matter of time regardless of warranty length.

Yes it's not fair to judge all Oracle's by what just 95% of them do.

Not for me. I have the Lux package and still went through three Oracles before I gave up the fight to save my investment. Nothing like throwing $450 in the fire pit!

We appreciate all of the feedback and discussion around our V1 Flush Mount Bronco Tail Lights. As LED driver and power-supply technology continues to advance, ORACLE Lighting incorporates those advancements into production whenever possible. Earlier this year, we introduced a number of refinements to our current production lights, including enhanced diffusion for a smoother light appearance along with updates to the internal electronics and protection systems. We've called these our V2 Flush Mount Tail Lights, and you can find more information on them here: https://www.oraclelights.com/pages/v2-flush-mount-tail-lights

Current production lights now feature:
• Enhanced diffusion for a more uniform light output
• Updated LED driver and power-supply technology
• Additional surge protection
• Improved CAN-bus compatibility
• Over-voltage and under-voltage protection
• Reverse polarity protection

The installation, appearance, SKU, and MSRP all remain the same, but these refinements allow us to deliver even more value to customers. As a result, we're also able to back the product with a 2-year warranty, up from the previous 1-year warranty. Like any product, we continually look for opportunities to improve as technology evolves. These enhancements build on an already proven design while incorporating newer technology to further strengthen performance, durability, and long-term confidence.

For anyone considering a set today, all current production inventory includes these enhancements at the same price point as before.

Not to be a dick but the OEMs can make LEDs last for WAY more then 2 years. So not sure why yours seem to have longevity issues. It's really NOT rocket surgery. Perhaps give the chinese kid in the factory a raise.

Mine have been on there for over 2 years without an issue...? I did keep my originals in case something ever happened to them though... I honestly wish there were more tail light options for them...

As soon as I see Morimoto tails go on some form of sale, my Oracles are going in the pit too. Not waiting for them to fail right after the extended warranty lapses. >.<
