Amen. I see some pristine Bronco Sasquatches and Raptors in the Trader Joe’s parking garage and entering/exiting the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Filson trim just reflecting the actual use case for 4x4s that cost $80,000.
I wonder what the Tiffany to Lululemon times will be - hopefully under 6 seconds. 🤭

All I know is that they would sell one more Filson edition if it had two less doors.

I swear I read somewhere that it would be in the high 300s, but I agree that it could be anything.
Yep, just saw this in Car & Driver

"The Filson edition features the Bronco Raptor's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6. However, it doesn't sound like the Filson will have the full 418 horsepower; we think it'll be in the high-300 range, though.

The brand described the collab version as "tuned for everyday performance," which a spokesperson told Car and Driver meant it wouldn't be quite as loud as the Raptor. Still, the same spokesperson told us that even detuned, the 3.0-liter V-6 will be more than a half-second quicker to 60 mph than the 2.7-liter V-6 in the standard Bronco. Our last test with that powertrain required 6.2 seconds to reach 60 mph, so the Filson should be somewhere in the mid-5-second range."

Umm, no one? Says this BadSas owner. I got it because I needed the capability and didn’t want to do aftermarket work at an untrusted shop outside the warranty. I was totally unfamiliar with all the Sasquatch lore and iconography (and I’m still not sure I get it).
I think you'd be surprised. A lot of people buy something because it's "top of the line" not because they actually need the capability. I'd bet a good number of people even on this enthusiast forum, can't tell you what you get in a Sasquatch over a non sasquatch after you spot them the wheel and tires. It's no different from any soccermom who drives her kids to practice in a Rubicon. they buy it because of status and image.

Will they offer the Filson with a manual transmission? The crawl gear is perfect for a Starbucks drive thru.
No. The manual transmission is paired to the 2.3L. The Filson will get the 3.0L and 10spAuto.

I love how everyone is going back and forth over will it be 385hp, or 418 etc. NO ONE here knows. They say specific tuning that "makes big power" but isn't as dramatic about it. For all we know that could mean they just went with a standard exhaust instead of the far more aggressive raptor active exhaust. One thing is for sure- it will have the same HP as an existing 3.0L in the lineup. Ford is not paying millions of dollars to EPA re-certify a different HP rating.

This makes absolutely ZERO sense. The upgrades made on the Filson seems to be the most standout changes and upgrades than any other vehicle even made in the bronco lineup except the raptor. It isn't a tune and wheels...
Well if rumors are true that the 3.0 is replacing the 2.7 in existing vehicles, they’ll have to recertify regardless so it would just make plain sense to just have two power levels, one for everyday consumer trims and one for performance trims

Ford's already on the record stating they think the RRaptor is overpowered. The engine's almost assuredly going to be de-tuned.

Well depends, I own a Ranger Raptor and a 2.7 Bronco 2 door with the Ford Tune. The Ranger is tame when it wants to be but the power is very touchy and reminds me of a 2 stroke dirt bike. You can lug it off-road then rip on FS roads and the dunes. It’s very easy to go over 70mph off-road and not even realize it. When I first took the Raptor out I almost rolled it twice! Then came to my senses and realized you can’t just full throttle the Raptor going Baja all the time or you will end up in a ditch. The Bronco on the other hand is tame and responsive but the short wheelbase keeps me from wanting to go fast and feels rather skittish at high speeds compared to my Ranger. I mainly use the Bronco on slow rocky FS trails which is my cup of tea. I think a detuned 3.0 makes a lot of sense in regular Broncos. Regarding the Ford Tune on the Ranger Raptor, not sure I even need it. But time will tell if I get that itch for more power.

Will the Filson Bronco be made in Vietnam like the Filson clothing is?

I had a Scout reservation in, but I think Ford got me back with this. I'm interested to see if they pair the FE color with something better matched than the green interior. Doesn't look awful, but not great either.
