Some tires are worse than others, but all tires grab and throw rocks.
Maybe,
But in my actual experience with the same road, and three different sets of tires the Falkens didn’t throw a single rock, the Mickeys threw a few, and the Goodyears threw hundreds if not more.

you do the math.

All good points! The GY is a gravel catapult for sure, but they have performed well on ALL terrains and conditions thus far (26K). The aspect of running boards and front mudflaps will curb the issue tremendously. I installed the flaps and boards that connect to the stock rock sliders. Seems all rocks are now undercarriage and on the running boards (400$). This is much simpler than 2K tires and 7K PPF......just sayin.

I have the hundreds and hundreds of rock chips in all my cars all driven on a variety of tires as evidence ;)

Though I've never used racing slicks. Those probably don't throw rocks.

Those tires are mud terrain tires,. You might wanna try all terrain-tires with a tighter knobby , may not throw the rocks as bad. my KO3’s don’t seem to throw rocks as much.
I can't recall ever hearing my KO3s sling a rock and I have no dings after 3 years. They are factory 33s so not sure if the wider ones like the sasquatch would be any different. I also have a 1000' gravel driveway up to the house.

I know tires have been talked about thousands of times, and I have read just about all the threads. I just purchased a badlands sasquatch 4 door. I live on a farm in Southwest Virginia. Our driveway is a mile long gravel road. These Goodyear Territory RT that came on it are throwing out so many small rocks even with mud flaps I am still hearing the rocks hit the vehicle once I am on the highway.
Any tire recommendations from those who drive on a gravel road a lot? I am leaning toward falken wildpeak at4 but still hesitant to pull the trigger on $2,000 to replace brand new tires.

Thanks!
When I added front mud flaps "splash guards in Ford Accessories speak", I noticed a lot less mud hitting the lower part of the Bronco. I think the combination of splash guards and lower-door PPF is the best way to go. If you stop at the door crease, the line will be practically invisible and the cost reasonable. Go the full side if you worry about a rock coming from a lane neighbor.

I have the GoodYear Territory MT Squatch tires and I have mud flaps and "had" the factory old man running boards. I heard the pinging of the stones but no paint chipping on my rockers. I switched the boards to Buckle Up Raptor style and same results. Stones pinging on the boards... not the rockers.

My advice: get used to it. It’s a truck

The General Grabber ATX's that came stock on my 25 OBX flung rocks like crazy. Switched to Toyo AT III's and no more rock flinging.

Need HD PPF, full runing boards, splash guards and max 275 tires. I grew up on farm and regularly hit 80- 120 mph on gravel roads literally floating ultra finesse controls more than one steel fuel tank punctured by rocks and know of multiple ditch hits and roll overs and endos....

easier just to go 30 though

You might need longer flaps. I’ve done lots of gravel driving, 18K total miles and no chips.

Those look great and a heck of a lot cheaper than the Rokblokz. I have IAG on right now (took them off my trade in OBX bronco) and I dont think they are long enough. Thank for the info and pics!!

I am in the market for the raptor style running boards. How do you like them?

True. I am in the market for the raptor style running boards. But finding a set of "take offs" are slim to none right now.
