Well, for those following this thread, Blue Oval Industries has two Pro Cals left. They are responsive and ship quickly. I got mine within three days and am very happy with it.

What's the typical cost for this to get installed by a dealer to maintain warranty?

Question to the forum: I am sure you saw the recall for the screen, which can go dark while going in reverse. Just happened now and they do not have a fix yet. I believe is a software issue. My question is, can this interfere with the Procal Update, meaning should I wait to fix this recall first and then do the Procal or it doesn´t have to do anything with it... Thanks to all.

Wont have any effect on the procal.
Completely different module.

Yup, totally aware of the difference between a piggyback and flash tuner. I was just wondering if the JB4 will add on top of the Ford Perf. tune or just act like it is now with the stock tune.

my guy (who is extremely experienced and a talented ford performance mechanic) told me im asking for trouble running JB4 over the procal. he said the procal tunes it to optimal performance, and the JB4 will just keep asking for more. making boost when not needed he gave as an example. I personally wouldnt run it piggybacked off the ford tune.

Im installing the tune tonight, well i thought i was, im getting this error message. anyone ever seen it? and yes the VIN is in there, i just erased it because i got scammed this week out of a C-note and i trust no one...........

I wouldn't blindly just run JB4 maps on a flash tune, but you log map0, send that in, and we can help you customize a safe map to make the most out of the fuel being used. Especially if on 93 octane or an e85 mix. In most cases customers have been fine on map1 levels of boost added and in some cases can do even more.

im only answering this because i asked the same question today. not that it matters!!! i guess the ford cal team isnt done writing my tune software yet...... thats a thing?!?! i have to wait till they finish. i dont get it

I will only be running the Ford tune. The JB4 will be uninstalled before uploading the Ford tune.
