Does anyone know if the white retaining clips around the parking sensors on the plastic bumper will swap over to the steel bumper? Are they even needed?
I'm just missing the ones in the middle pair of sensors, the two on the outside of the steel bumper still have the white clips attached.
That was a great idea—I did give it a try, but the space is too tight and I don’t have a large enough hammer to make it work effectively.
I checked with the shop that will be installing my new wheels/tires and handling the alignment, and they can install the pins for $60 if I bring them in. At...
8 inch clamp got it in a hair further, but to me it looks like it's getting off center ever so slightly. Still not enough leverage to clamp even this one down.
On the plus side, it doesn't feel like it's going to come out any time soon.
I bought the SPC pins mentioned earlier. They aren't working well for me. I tried a couple different clamps, and even an alignment installation tool. I think they are just slightly too large. I can't get enough leverage on the clamp to press them in fully. When I really crank on them the clamp...
I ran into the same issue. I’ve already got replacement bolts on order and was able to complete the other side the correct way—it only took about 10 minutes to disassemble.
How did you end up removing this bolt? I’ve tried using an air hammer without success. At this point, I’m considering...
On a related note, I can't get the lower control arm bolts out no matter what. I've tried to relieve pressure by supporting both the outer and inner joints them using a hammer. No luck though.
Yeah it was $100 per side, they verified. I ended up buying some from Auto Zone that someone on here said worked. AZ said it wouldn't fit, so we'll see. They were only $40 for both sides.
Just curious, but how much do you think these beadlock rings would fetch on the marketplace if I decided to do that and just buy new ones? I can buy a set of all black wheels for an extra $200. honestly might be worth it versus the hassle of paiting or trying to sell a set.
Just ended up buying...
I’m picking up a set of local SAS wheels, but the beadlock rings are gray and my Bronco is fully blacked out—there’s no gray left anywhere. Are there any reasonably priced black ring options out there? Most of what I’m seeing online is close to $400, which is nearly what I paid for the wheels...
They broke off, some of the pin is still in there. I called O'Reilly, but they couldn't find anything in their system. I'll try NAPA, but they aren't very close to me. I searched on Amazon since some folks reported good luck there, but I can't find any that say they are compatible with a Ford...
First time coilover replacement here and it's been a pain for sure. I broke these small tabs off next to the lower control arm bolts. Looks like they were to help prevent the cam washer from spinning. I don't think it's a big deal, what do you guys think?
