Ford definitely isn't making things easy to understand.

I have a new 2025 Heritage, which comes as standard with the Sasquatch package.

According to Ford's site, the Heritage comes with the HOSS 1.0 system, while the Sasquatch comes with the HOSS 2.0. But the Heritage comes with the Sasquatch package, so should come with the HOSS 2.0 components. Everything else I read online says the Heritage comes with the HOSS 2.0 system. And a quick look under shows that I definitely have the bilstein shocks that are from the 2.0 system.

So which is it? Is it the 1.0 or the 2.0, or is it the 1.0 with some components of the 2.0 system?

And the same question regarding the Steering Rack. Does the Heritage come with the upgraded steering rack that I see is now being included as part of the Sasquatch package?

Thanks.

Anything with yellow Bilsteins is hoss 2.0 suspension.

And yes since 24MY, all Badlands or Sasquatch equipped vehicles come with the severe duty steering rack.
Awesome, thanks, that's good to know.

So does the severe duty steering rack and tie rods really solve the issue of breaking tie rods? I know that it's often people lifting and putting bigger tires on that leads to it.

3.0 rack, and tie rods, are definitely a big upgrade, not unbreakable, but sufficient for 95% of trails and bronco drivers and good strength with up to a 37" tire.

One of the many reasons I was glad to find a 24 BL Sas when I did. It has a lot of extras that make it "useful" off the lot.

Thanks. I just took delivery of a FP severe duty rack kit...for my '24 HLE...and apparently don't need it now? How would I confirm that I already have the severe duty rack?

If its a 24, it has the updated rack.
If you want to see the difference look at post 35:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I guess I pulled the trigger too early. I'm new to the Bronco and thought this would be an upgrade. Now I've got to send this rack back and the shipping for a box that size is gonna hurt.

I am looking to put a HOSS 3.0 suspension on my HOSS 2.0 Sasquatch 2Dr. But FP has no kits and no ETA for when any will become available.

Other vendors sell the FP kit, I think lethal performance has them in stock.

Summit doesn’t, CJ Pony doesn’t. I guess I’ll keep looking for takeoffs from a 2Dr.

I wonder how much of a difference the spring rates of the 4 door are? I’m sure it would ride a little different than designed but can’t be too much if you just used the 4 door kit. I agree the 2 door kit is hard to find, I looked and Stage 3 could only say 2-3 weeks lead time.

Just buy Fox 2.5 or Fox or Bilstein active and hellwig sway bar if want to upgrade or stay stock and get better tires. Maybe pick up Hoss3 takeoffs to save a ton of money.

The vendors selling the HOSS 3.0 kit seem to all have it on sale...but you can't get one because they can't get one from Ford Racing/Ford Performance. So before you whip out the card to order one do yourself a favor and get on the vendor's online chat on their website and ask them a) if they have any stock on hand (pretty sure these are only drop shipped when somebody orders) and b) if they have a firm date on when it will ship. I waited over a month after placing an order and when I'd check the website...whatever day it was I checked the order, it was expected to ship two days from whenever I checked it. So the date would just roll right along with the BS everytime I checked the order status. I cancelled, and won't order from that site again.

I did call the FP site and talked to someone who gave me an email address to Ford Accessories to find out more, and yesterday I did get a response. They still need some components to build kits, but I guess they will have stock soon (but apparently they are allergic to building too many kits and don't want to get 'stuck' with a kit they can't sell I guess). The only bad part about buying directly from FP is that you have to pay the "FP tax"...which means you will be paying full 'retail' instead of a discounted 'on sale' price from one of the vendors who also sell these kits (like Summit, CJ Pony, etc.)...you know...the ones who have the kit showing as 'on sale' but don't have any kits to sell...those guys. So buying from FP directly you can expect to pay $500 more than if you got it from one of the vendors (who don't have any, but might eventually one day).

Finally got mine delivered from CJ Pony and installed this week. Don't know why FP told me the kits wouldn't be available until October. Kind of a dick move there.
