Stop asking how easy it is. Watch "Grandma" do it herself!
We get asked all the time how simple our hard top lift really is—so we stopped explaining and just showed the proof.

Proof is in the pudding: That's a real grandma removing a Bronco hard top by herself using the EZ4X4 lift.

Zero tricks. Zero editing. Zero extra hands.

If she can do it safely, comfortably, and alone, you definitely can.

Our EZ4X4 Hard Top Remover Lift works perfectly with both 2-door and 4-door Broncos.

Will this work on the Bronco Raptor or does the cross brace prevent yours from working?

I was wondering the same thing! I had to dig a little bit to find the answer but both the top lift and the door cart fit the Raptor!

Here's my review on it - Emma's EZ 4x4 Review

I wish Grandma would have sent me the lift with the crank on the side like she has. My wife waited for our back ordered lift, so I would have expected it to be the most current configuration, but ours has the crank on the back. The Bronco still fits in our shallow garage, but just barely. The extra 11" of clearance to the wall would have been welcome.

Ya I don't like it being on the back like that. I need that space also in my garage.

Is it not kind of awkward working the lift from that angle regarding the crank?

I actually have not used it yet, but having it side mounted seems it would be way more natural...like a fishing reel or down rigger.

The assembly video EZ4x4 put out a year ago has the reel side mounted so they must have changed the design for some reason since then.

I recently purchased one of these as well and the crank handle is on the back. I have plenty of room so not an issue but the side mount would have been preferred just so it's not sticking out. Otherwise it works as advertised.

Yeah I'd seen videos and expected the side crank configuration. When my wife said she had to wait for back orders, I figured we received a new production lot and it would be of the latest configuration. I was disappointed to be assembling it and find the crank in the old, much less desirable, shallow garage location.
